Without styling, there is no visible result, but if you straighten your hair and give it a quick spritz, it shines beautifully. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the scent, which is too chemical. Oh, and one more thing, this is not a hairspray, so don't expect it to hold your hair in place. That's not what I needed it for.
