2-in-1 Pencil and Powder - Maybelline Express Brow Duo
I have previously used a similar pencil from Maybelline, but from the previous collection. I was very satisfied with it, so when it ran out, I ordered this one. However, I was disappointed because it seemed like the side where the eyeshadow was supposed to be was not working at all. I even contacted the Makeup support service. But later, I realized that the lipstick (eyeshadow) was actually on the inside of the cap, not inside the pencil! In this collection, the lipstick is just slightly harder than, for example, in the previous one or in some other brands! So when I started trying to pick up the lipstick with a sponge from the cap, it worked! If you know that it's there, it's not a problem to pick it up. I am very satisfied with the color, it looks natural (I have medium brown), and it lasts quite well.
The sponge part is useless, it doesn't draw anything, only good for blending. The pencil is decent.
The pencil is great! I have been using it for many years.
However, I was disappointed with the makeup service. The pencil was missing from the order! I ordered the pencil along with several other items, but they didn't include the pencil, didn't refund the money, and didn't resolve the issue!
I recommend checking all the items with the courier.

I have been using it for a very long time, and I still haven't found anything better than it.
My personal experience: the powder part has no effect, it's more like a sponge for blending. The pencil is soft and draws beautifully, BUT!!!! After 5 minutes, the skin changes color to a brick-red! So initially, the pencil draws with a suitable shade for me, but it changes after 5 minutes! What is this even? I've never encountered this effect before. And it's not any kind of allergy, the brown color simply disappears altogether.
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this purchase because the part where the shadows are supposed to be does not draw at all. I tried tapping on it and even inserting a needle, but it was all in vain. Although I bought it specifically for the shadows, it did not work, even after using it for 3 years. Additionally, the part where the pencil lead is located is very hard and does not blend evenly. I am extremely disappointed.
Wow, I bought this to try it out because the reviews were mixed. I have used another pencil from the same brand before, but it was thinner. This pencil breaks easily when you draw your eyebrows. And the other side blends very unevenly. I definitely won't buy it again.
I didn't like it because it feels greasy on the brows and is poorly positioned. Another downside is that the stick is only 7cm long.
My favorite pencil for several years now. Ordered it again this week. The updated version arrived, but I preferred the previous one much more. They made the lead thicker. It may be sharp, but only for the first few uses. It's not very convenient to draw with a thick lead((( The previous pencil option was much better, thin and comfortable. So, 4 stars. I will be looking into other brands with thin lead.
It used to be better before. It's still good now, but compared to the old version, it's a step behind. You can't improve something that was already perfect. And what about the pencil itself? I bought it a week ago, and it already looks like this. I understand that it's just the packaging, but it's unpleasant to use it like this, and there are doubts about its quality. All the paint just leaked. Could it be a counterfeit?

I didn't understand the pencil and the eyeshadows either. The pencil is hard and doesn't give color well. As for the eyeshadows, I couldn't even distinguish the shade at all, you apply them and nothing changes. I would like to spend less time shaping my eyebrows, but unfortunately, it is impossible with this product.

I don't understand why they needed to "improve" the product when it was already top-selling. It was convenient to draw with a thin pencil, but not with this one. The only positive aspect is the color (medium brown). I will have to look for something else.
This pencil has been a staple in my makeup bag for almost 5 years. I really like that one end has a firm tip and the other end has a soft puff, which makes it easy to blend lines. Previously, one pencil would last me 4 months, but the new version only lasted 1.5 months. I can't say that I don't like the new design of the tip, it just takes time to get used to it. Plus, the Medium Brown shade now has no red undertones, which suits me better. I will continue to purchase it, even though it has become less economical.
This pencil is a bit peculiar as it alternates between drawing well and not applying at all, sometimes requiring extra pressure or even hand smudging. It has quite a thick texture. However, it blends well when smudged.
This product is very convenient for doing eyebrow makeup. It allows for precise application with its pencil, and I was able to shade and shape my brows perfectly using the eyeshadows.
I have been buying this pencil for several years and I really liked it. However, after the recent update, the lead has become incredibly uncomfortable to use. Sadly, I will not be ordering it anymore. ((

I didn't really like this eyebrow pencil. It is too thick and doesn't look natural on the eyebrows. I don't recommend it. I will go back to using the brow gel, which looks very neat and natural on my eyebrows, unlike this pencil.

Unfortunately, the new pencil is defective once again and draws very poorly (powder). Even the old pencil is much more vibrant.
Adding to my previous review. The pencil is very small, and it only lasted for 1.5 months. Not practical.

This is a great pencil, I have it in the color dark brown and it matches perfectly. Before this, I used to use eyeshadows, but now I doubt I'll go back to them. :) I'm not a fan of very dark brows, and with this pencil, you can achieve a natural look by not applying too much pressure, occasionally smudging, and you'll be satisfied with the result :)
I really liked this pencil. I have already bought it three times and I don't want to change it for anything else. When the pencil tip wears out, I use the soft side, which is just as good as the lead (maybe even better). It lasts for a long time. Overall, it's super.
I bought this pencil because it was a gift from the brand. However, it didn't suit me at all. The powdery part barely creates a noticeable smoky effect. Additionally, the pencil is too thick for outlining. I have been coloring my eyebrows with a Color me pencil for several years now, and it remains the best tool as it can be sharpened with a sharpener.
I am a little disappointed with the product. I have no issues with the pencil, but the powder is terrible. I expected it to be eyeshadow, but it turned out to be just solid particles that look like flaked mascara.

The shade Dark Brown is perfect for girls with dark eyebrows. It is not reddish or black, but rather an ideal brown color. The pencil lasted me for two months. It is soft, but not suitable for hair-like techniques.
This product is perfect for a natural makeup look. I have been using it for about 3 years. The dark brown shade is a great match for dark hair and light skin, without making it look reddish. The pencil allows for a more precise line and can be used to fill in areas where there is less eyebrow hair. The eyeshadows draw very delicately and overall make the eyebrows darker, but still achieve a very natural effect. This product may not be suitable for those who prefer bold eyebrow makeup, eyebrow markers, or a clearly defined shape like with tattooing.
The pencil is very soft and will not create clear lines. However, both the pencil and the powder are not long-lasting. They easily rub off from the slightest touch, lacking any form of fixation. Unfortunately, this product did not bring me any joy.

Cons (for me):
- My eyebrows are quite wide and I need to "glue" them together to make them look even. The pencil is dry and even after combing, the hairs don't stay in place.
- What's with the brush on the other end??? I didn't immediately understand what it's for.
Conclusion: I do not recommend it if you have thick unruly eyebrows!

Great pencil, I've ordered it for the fifth time now. The lead is a bit fragile.
The pencil is good, and the color matches perfectly. I especially liked the shades. I highly recommend it! The color is dark brown.
