One of the most iconic men's fragrances ever created has to be Le Male from Jean Paul Gaultier, the legendary French fashion and perfume designer. The summer of 2015 saw the release of Ultra Male, which is a reinterpretation or enhanced version (aka ‘flanker’) of the popular original Le Male from 1995. Ultra Male is considered to be a more intense and a spicier version of the original. Supposedly built on contrasts notes, this masculine and at the same time delicate fragrance is ideal for young and sensual men, whose guiding principle is to go forward and always try to win.
The nose behind Ultra Male is Francis Kurkdjian, one of the most respected perfumers in the world. It was him, by the way, who actually designed Le Male. Using his innate talents and passion for the art of perfumery, he managed to make Ultra Male even more masculine. As a result of his efforts, now we can enjoy an exquisitely sensual fragrance.

Top notes open with a powerful burst of bergamot, pear, mint, lavender and lemon.
Heart notes are loaded with incredible accords of cinnamon, clary sage and cumin.
Base notes revolve around vanilla, amber, cedar, patchouli, leaving a very chic, head-turning trail.
It's just okay, the volume is good for the first half hour, but then it starts to decrease and can be heard only within arm's reach for a couple of hours. Nothing special. In my opinion, it's not worth the money. No complaints about the store, everything is fine.
This product has an excellent sweet vanilla-pear aroma that is perfect for cold weather and any time of the year. However, it might become overwhelming in warm temperatures. I purchased it at a duty-free shop and the presentation and longevity are outstanding. It is also suitable for nighttime clubbing and is referred to as the king of the club scene in the West.
