The unique signature of Geza Schoen, the creator of Escentric Molecules, is evident in the works of The Beautiful Mind Series. Both brands represent interconnected worlds; while the former focuses on minimalism and molecular perfumery, the latter is a poetic tribute honoring remarkable women. The perfume Volume 2 Precision and Grace is dedicated to the ballerina Polina Semionova, whose graceful and precise movements profoundly impressed Geza. Behind every move lies incredible physical effort, all transformed into the illusion of weightless flight. Just as a dancer creates magic on stage, the fruity-floral composition unfolds. Its layers reveal different facets to everyone, sometimes sparkling with bright citruses, then with crisp pear and plum, or powdery flowers. Yet, there is always lightness and balance, with strength and precision hidden behind every component.
Top notes — the first movement with which the ballerina begins her dance. A crisp pear makes a swift pirouette, enchanting the audience with its bright radiance and tanginess. Meanwhile, lemon, mandarin, and bergamot burst with freshness, as if an orchestra plays a lightning-fast overture, bringing the stage to life with their juicy melody.
Gradually, the dance gains momentum, revealing a multifaceted heart to the audience. The plum adds smoothness, like gentle curves of a body moving in rhythm, while Egyptian jasmine and osmanthus weave into the air, reminiscent of weightless movements. These floral accords with apricot and fruity hints create an image of grace, and an airy bouquet of white freesia, violet, mimosa, and rose adds a special tenderness to the dance.
Base notes — the climax of the performance. In the deep and warm tones of sandalwood, amber, and musk, strength and emotion resonate. Pink pepper adds sharpness and drama, like the final accent on stage, while a trail of moss, castoreum, and myrrh concludes the performance with a bow, leaving a taste of mystery and enigma.
Cloyingly spicy Eastern aroma. More masculine than feminine, it caters to men who appreciate sharp, sweet fragrances. Citrus notes are present, but they are very subtle.
The scent is incredible, simply indescribable. I couldn't understand why everyone was singing praises about Molecule until I tried this perfume. However, it sounds different on each person, so it's definitely worth testing. Thankfully, there is a sample available.
I only detected one sharp and overly sweet note on me. The perfume is very long-lasting, to the point that it made me feel nauseous by the evening. Definitely test it before buying a full bottle. In my opinion, this scent is more suitable for mature women.
