Elizabeth Taylor, one of the world’s legendary movie stars, had a great passion for exquisite gemstone jewellery. This inspired the eponymous fashion house to create a ‘diamond’ collection of women's fragrances, where Diamonds & Emeralds Eau de Toilette takes centre stage. This is clearly the most intense oriental fragrance with enticing floral accords. As much as diamonds and emeralds captivate with their breathtaking shine, so does this sophisticated fragrance. Get ready to get endless compliments from people around you.
The olfactory pyramid of Elizabeth Taylor Diamonds&Emeralds:
Top notes open with a bittersweet combination of sage, hyacinth, lotus, and orange blossom. It seamlessly merges into a floral bouquet of elegant gardenia, mysterious rose, peach, apricot, and tangerine.
Heart notes are composed of refined lily and graceful tuberose, sensual magnolia and invigorating lily of the valley, fascinating jasmine and carnation.
Base notes are dominated by patchouli and Tonka beans with their peculiar vanilla and caramel accents. They form a magical trail as soon as they meet warm amber and voluptuous musk.
A wonderful evening floral fragrance that fills me with admiration and love.
Smells like a fairytale! It is evident that this is a variation of White Diamonds. However, here we have a fruity twist! Yet, it is not overly sweet or spicy. In my opinion, this fragrance can be worn daily. Maybe even now, I'll go spritz myself again!
On the skin, it resonates as if there is actual perfume on it! The sillage is almost non-existent, so the likelihood of overpowering someone with it is extremely low. ;)
I didn't like it at all. It tastes sour and I never use it because it has a rotten smell, like overripe fruits.
Light. Not repulsive, which is not uncommon for me. You could say it's tasty. But I don't feel it anymore after half an hour. They say this phenomenon is typical when the scent suits you. I would like to believe in this, rather than the weakness and lack of longevity of the fragrance. It reminded me of something WHITE DIAMONDS NIGHT, but just a less expressive light version.
Retro can come in different forms, and I am thrilled about that, especially after 1.5-2 hours. Someone wrote that the fragrance is subtle, and I completely agree, it is completely unrecognizable and complementary.
Definitely retro. But so enchanting! At first, it creates a continuous gardenia scent on the cold skin. Then it becomes softer, but not delicate. It's interesting and multifaceted. It's like the East with flowers. I think it's perfect for brunettes over 30.
I received a perfume, and I really liked the scent. To my taste, it is more floral than oriental-floral, rather white floral - hyacinth, lily of the valley, lily. Later on, I can detect vanilla and a candy-like sweetness (not overly sweet). The bottle is beautiful, but... I was disappointed with Makeup's very long delivery from the EU, and once again, I wonder why there are no gifts, even though the order was not a small amount. The last time I received a gift was two years ago, and it was just a small packet that they give for free in any store - that is far from being a gift! Makeup, please don't ruin your reputation!
The fragrance is beautiful, with a lasting and complementary scent. It is delicate yet noticeable. When I spray it, I feel like I'm entering a cloud of captivating aroma.
