This is a good quality oil with a light sesame fragrance.
From the moment my son was born, this oil has replaced all our skincare products! There was no irritation at all, the skin is soft and moisturized. It doesn't leave any greasy marks on clothing.
I have ordered this oil for the second time. I have been using it since my baby's first bath. I apply it to the whole body and head after each procedure. No allergic reactions. The oil has a specific herbal scent (I don't know exactly how calendula smells, but I assume it's that). Currently, there are milk crusts on the eyebrows and nose bridge, so I apply more oil in these areas several times a day, but they haven't disappeared yet. Overall, I am satisfied with the oil and I recommend it to everyone. Velede is a fantastic brand!
Unfortunately, the oil did not work for us at all. It was a nightmare for my child. Previously, we used the same company's lotion and everything was fine. We decided to try something else, and this oil does not moisturize dry areas of the skin at all. It does not reduce redness, and on the contrary, the skin becomes even redder the next day after using the oil.
The oil has helped me get rid of dry flakes on my scalp after just a few uses. I applied it 15 minutes before taking a bath. I highly recommend it!
I decided to replace my Weleda lotion with something with a simple composition, so I bought this oil. The oil has a pleasant smell, I don't smell anything herbal. I have ordered this oil not for the first time, and I have always been satisfied with it. However, the last time I received the oil, the label was slightly crooked and the oil itself was completely different. It had a very intense orange color that stained both my child's body and clothing. This kind of strong staining has never happened before. I will not order this specific oil again, as it might be a counterfeit or something has changed in the production process. I am really disappointed.
