I rarely experiment with eye creams because I gave my heart to the Clinique roller years ago and have been using it exclusively for almost 10 years. However, I decided to try this cream along with its line of gels and face creams, and I can confidently say it's now the best eye cream for me! It absorbs beautifully without any residue, and my issues with dark circles and puffiness disappeared within the first week. I can't comment on how it performs in the summer, as it didn't last until then, but it worked excellently throughout the winter and spring.
I usually love Biotherm's daytime creams. I bought this eye cream for the first time, and it was a disaster! The positive effects described in reviews last only for the first 5 minutes. After that, the cream starts to clump and forms a film that looks and feels like peeling skin around the eyes. You definitely can't apply it in the morning because you'll need to wash it off to use any foundation. This is my biggest disappointment with Biotherm. Is this normal for such a brand, or am I the only one experiencing this issue?
I definitely liked it, it provides moisture and has a great scent. My under-eye circles didn't disappear completely, as no cream can work miracles, but thanks to the shimmering particles in the cream, it does seem to slightly improve the appearance of the dark circles. I particularly like the gel-like consistency, and personally, it doesn't smudge or run, as mentioned in previous reviews. I use it both in the morning and at night. The only thing is that I don't use foundation or other makeup on top of it, so I can't say how well it works with other cosmetics. As for the claimed cooling effect, I don't really feel it, maybe just a very subtle cooling sensation.

I would also like to add to the previous review. The packaging of this cream is a mockery. A cream for the eyelid should not be taken out with fingers from a jar. Fingers are contaminated, not the skin around the eyes. This is all done just to make us buy new jars more quickly. Such a cream should come in a tube or with a dispenser.

Based on the description, this gel-cream seemed like it would meet my requirements. However, it didn't.
It rolls off, no matter how much I apply.
It's sticky and seems to glue my eyelid together. The cooling sensation I desired is inconsistent (maybe it's just me, but I never had this issue with previous creams).
