The cream has deteriorated significantly. I used it before and it was light, semi-transparent, and slightly concealed imperfections. It worked well as a primer or makeup base, giving a subtle glow. However, it now has an unpleasant consistency. It is sticky and dense, and does not adapt to the skin. Instead of giving a glow, it transforms into an unclear white mass that unnaturally whitens the face. Furthermore, it has doubled in price. Even if it were still at the old price, it would not be worth it considering the current quality. I do not recommend it.
Mixed feelings. On one hand, the primer is actually good and initially even gave a subtle glow. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin (I have combination skin that tends to be oily) and doesn't cause any breakouts. It looks great when used together with the Holika BB cream.
BUT! It runs out very quickly, even though I only used it about 4 times, and the texture became more liquid. I can't imagine how it could last for a year. So, the price is slightly too high.
This primer is cool, but it doesn't justify its price.
I'm purchasing it for the second time, and it lasts for a year. I can't say that the primer covers anything for me (redness). I like that it has a neutral and light shade, it moisturizes my dry skin well. I don't use foundation and powder every day, the primer + highlighter + blush is enough for me.
This primer is perfect for me. It effectively evens out my complexion and gives my skin a subtle glow, providing a nice fresh effect. During the summer, I only need to apply a small amount to my skin, and that's it. No need for foundation or powder.
It doesn't do a great job at reducing redness, instead, it leaves the skin shimmering, like a highlighter cream. My impression is mixed, I was expecting more. I hoped for an even skin tone, hiding small imperfections, and a smooth surface for applying foundation. I didn't notice any of that. It's important not to overdo it, once I applied too much and my face was very shiny. I found the green Maybelline primer more suitable for me.
