Heat Protection Spray - Matrix Total Results Mega Sleek Iron Smoother
This was my first negative experience. I use both home and salon hair care products, without checking reviews first. I should have ordered a heat protectant for my hair sooner, and I deeply regret not doing so. It really dries out my hair. I thought I might be exaggerating, but after a couple of days, I decided to try alterego. It's like night and day in comparison, even though I have pretty healthy and resilient hair. I do not recommend such experiments.
Well... I don't know, whether there are any effects or not, but in my opinion, it's the same with or without this product. I won't be buying it anymore.
The odor is sharp, highly concentrated, and unpleasant. I do not notice any effect on my hair.
The brake protection spray is terrible. It excessively dries out the hair. I do not recommend it. It's a waste of money.

I am the owner of porous curly hair, and this spray worked great for me. I didn't notice any alcohol smell. My hair gets severely damaged by the sun, so it needed frequent trimming, but with the use of this spray, this problem has been eliminated. And here's the catch: it says on the makeup and label that it's a thermal protector. But the brand's experts themselves write in the comments that this spray should not be used on dry hair. So, please edit the information and don't deceive people, because when used on wet hair, this spray damages the hair. This has never happened to me before in my life, ever.
Girls, do not use this as a heat protectant! It horribly dried out my hair, my colorist was shocked. Overall, Matrix products often dry out hair. I had to cut off several centimeters of hair, and now I will have to restore it with expensive masks and also bought a new heat protectant, several times more expensive. It's a shame I didn't listen to the girls who wrote here about the spray drying out hair.

Excellent effect! I applied it to wet hair after washing. Despite the presence of alcohol in the composition, it worked great after using a nourishing leave-in treatment. I styled my hair with a hairdryer, even without a straightener! My hair is straight but tends to get frizzy, and this spray helped smooth them out. It has a citrus scent that quickly fades away. The texture is liquid and not sticky. I also bought the osis heat protection at the same time - and I liked it even more!
The heat protectant is excellent; I have tried different ones, but I always come back to this one. The scent is amazing. I highly recommend it.
The thermal protectant is not bad, but it really dries out the hair and even tangles it partially. There is a noticeable smell of alcohol, unless additional leave-in softening products are used. I wouldn't repurchase this product again, even though I like the brand.

This spray was absolutely unsuitable. My hair is lightened, thick, dense, and slightly porous. After styling with a brush or even a straightener, my hair becomes horribly frizzy, making it impossible to style properly. I did not like this product. It was a waste of money! I didn't buy it here.

A good spray that does its job, with a neutral scent. The only reason it costs 300 hryvnias is because I don't see the point in paying for the brand. There are products with the same properties and cheaper. Whether to buy it or not is up to you to decide.
I have been using this product along with the black hair mask from Matrix. My hair feels incredibly soft and silky. I highly recommend using them together. (My hair is thick and color-treated.)

It effectively fulfills its purpose of thermal protection. However, it doesn't do anything else.
This product is excellent! I am a hairstylist and I use it myself and also apply it to my clients. It is suitable for different hair types. Initially, the hair feels a bit stiff, but with a little blow-drying, it becomes easily manageable. When using a brush, the shine is eye-catching, and the end result is superb. I highly recommend it!

My hair is curly, dry, voluminous but not thick. It's cut into a bob. If I use a smoothing mask, my hair loses volume and by the end of the day, it hangs like icicles. Or if I wear a hat, within an hour my hairstyle just flattens and it looks like my head is dirty.
But this product is simply a miracle - it doesn't weigh down or tangle my hair. While blow-drying them, it may seem like they're slightly sticky, but then that stickiness disappears and the result is a beautiful voluminous hairstyle. The hair is smooth, doesn't stick out in different directions, doesn't get frizzy, and doesn't try to curl into a ringlet.

Amazing scent of red orange, I'm not sure how well it protects the hair, but I spray it just for the smell, to be honest :) I haven't noticed anything negative in its use.

This is practically the only product that I constantly have in my arsenal. It tames the frizziness of my porous hair. I give it a 5+ rating. I haven't found anything better for my hair yet.
The spray did not meet my expectations at all. I have been using it for 3 months and it just doesn't work for me. It leaves my hair dry and sticky, with only a slight hold. It doesn't matter how much product I use, my hair still ends up feeling stiff. I won't be purchasing it again.
