There's no point in describing the scent, you can't convey smells with words. I used to buy it at Brocard, and there's no difference in longevity, scent, or packaging. I always check the batch code and barcode, regardless of where I buy it, and the expiration dates are fine. And yes, it's made in France, so it's original for those who still doubt the makeup.
