Guerlain Shalimar Souffle de Parfum - Eau de Parfum
I bought it based on reviews. (Many say it is similar to Allure Sensuelle). I have the Allure Sensuelle perfume, so I can compare. Yes! It is similar! For the first five minutes, when the citrus bergamot and mandarin peel open up... it's a citrus explosion!! I was delighted. But then it all calms down and I can smell vanilla and a slightly bitter and smoky prune, probably due to musk. There is no lemon souffle or lemon zest here (as bloggers describe it, confusing jasmine with lemon zest). There is no sweetness, I am not familiar with Shalimars at all. I used to wear Insolence by Guerlain (a winter complement, but I got tired of it and gave it away), and I never wanted to try anything from this house again, because I was afraid of powdery scents and vanilla. Strangely, this fragrance sounds quietly gourmet, it seems to be more suitable for warm seasons rather than winter. And that already pleases me, that the vanilla won't suffocate. But the most important thing is that when the citrus notes disappear, I can smell on myself a perfume that has long been discontinued, the Decadence perfume with a bottle shaped like a green handbag with a chain. Well, that's my perception of this perfume. I really liked the bottle. It is perfectly sealed, you can't tamper with it. The delivery was from the EU.
I really, really liked it! I wear it with pleasure! The intensity of the scent can be adjusted by the amount of sprays.
I will add to my review. I haven't touched the perfume for almost a month. It has actually settled now and smells delicious. Like oranges, vanilla, and something else. Now I really like it. But I don't think it has a long-lasting scent. Although, what does it matter? The important thing is that it feels cozy to me. It suits me. Makeup, thank you.

The purchase was unplanned, without testing, but the price was attractive. I will give it a chance, let it warm up, but I could have done without it. I blindly bought Shalimar based on the reviews and after checking the base notes, etc. It has an exquisite fragrance. In one word, it's Guerlain... It has a very long-lasting scent that sounds luxurious, and it has excellent staying power. A luxurious scent that starts and unfolds divinely, sweetly, powdery, with flowers and vanilla, but not gourmand - it sounds sophisticated and dignified, without slipping into sweetness, jam, or sugar. It is very long-lasting on me, I recommend getting it while it's still available.
The scent is original, but since 2014 it could have been slightly reformulated because IFRA constantly makes adjustments to the compositions of all perfumes.
At the moment, Sufle and its entire range have been discontinued, so for those who are unsure whether to buy it or not, it's better to decide quickly because soon it will be difficult to find Sufle available for purchase, just like makeup.
