I found this knife to be suitable for me. My cuticles are small but dry. Other knives from reputable brands cut me to the point of bleeding - they grip too deeply. Only this one cuts just the dry, thin edge without touching the live skin. It's all about individual preference. It's the best one for me, even though it's not expensive.
I had a nail file from this company that lasted me over two years. Hoping to have the same experience, I bought this trimmer thinking it would be just as great. However, I completely agree with the reviews - it only lasted a couple of uses and then it was useless. A waste of money.
I agree with all the negative reviews. The knife is flimsy, and the cutting edge is bent in a way that makes it impossible to grip the cuticle. It is not possible to give it a somewhat satisfactory shape because the metal is brittle.

It's sharp, but has a very inconvenient shape - too wide, making it easy to cut off more than intended. Moreover, it is small and uncomfortable to hold in the hands. I know there are much cheaper and better quality alternatives. Definitely won't buy this one again.
