I am really drawn to this product, it sets the mood with its fragrance. I even love applying it to my hair before bed and enjoying the scent. Maybe it doesn't have a strong sillage, but if I apply it in the morning, I can still feel it in the evening. I recommend giving it a try.
The suffocating scent of lemon geranium. I can't imagine a girl between 20-40 years old wearing such a fragrance.

I purchased Byredo Bal d'Afrique two weeks ago, inspired by the reviews and after smelling it on a friend. The packaging is very elegant and luxurious, with a simple yet monumental design. I bought it for the cold season, but I must say that I don't share the enthusiasm and "wows" about it. The first downside is the high price. On the positive side, the scent is deep, warm, and harmonious. It gradually unfolds, taking you on a romantic journey and evoking distant memories. The second downside is that the scent is not particularly long-lasting. It lasts for about an hour and then fades away, leaving a light trail on clothing after an hour and a half to two hours. My husband's reaction was, "It's a scent for mature women, and it has an old-fashioned feel, like remnants of our mothers' past." A male colleague's reaction was, "I'm tired of sniffing you, it overwhelms me with memories and images of the past, the good, the very forgotten." Somehow, it turned out that most of my acquaintances, who are over 43-45 years old, found the scent old-fashioned, evoking memories, but still warmly multi-dimensional. Therefore, let's call this a plus - Byredo Bal d'Afrique is an embodiment of memories. When expectations slightly diverge from reality, and the number of positive reviews about the magic of attractiveness and sex appeal stirs your consciousness - your imagination kicks in, and you start painting images again, images that make you feel like growing wings and dancing (in the sense of, let's dance). The fragrance is simply amazing! It's soft, delicate, deep, and memorable. It has a perfect balance of sweetness, flowers, and woody notes. Everything is harmonious and very pleasant. It vaguely resembles the scent of Noa Cacharel, not the current ones, but the ones from 2001, the very first ones. There's also something in common with Tom Ford White Suede. I highly recommend it to those who enjoy these types of fragrances. Respect to the store!

Amazing scent! Right after applying it, there is a citrus note that gradually warms up, but it is not overwhelming. It's one of my favorites. It wasn't available here, but I had it delivered upon request. I simply called the hotline and asked to place an order. Thank you, Make Up!
