The cream itself is quite thick. I haven't yet figured out its function on my thin, porous hair. Also, I initially thought it would have a sweet scent like ice cream, judging by the name, but it actually has a neutral, soapy-floral fragrance.
So far, this is the best non-rinse cream that I have ever purchased. I have dry, blonde front strands and ends. I applied it after using the conditioner from the same brand on damp hair and then blow-dried it with a brush. The result is amazing! If my hair is extremely dry, I can also apply a little more of the cream on dry hair.
