Tuba Lip Balm "Original" Carmex Lip Balm

I really like this lip balm. It effectively moisturizes my lips. I have been using it for over a year.

Carmex is my salvation for lips. I often bite my lips, which causes wounds and cracks, especially during winter when they become chapped. And Carmex is the only effective remedy that saves my lips overnight. I have been using it consistently for 4 years. I like how it looks on my lips, so I often apply it instead of oils, lipsticks, and so on. I also like the refreshing sensation it provides, which slightly plumps up my lips.

This lip balm is my best friend during the winter. My lips tend to become dry, cracked, and prone to cold sores all winter long. This lip balm is my savior. Thanks to its ingredients and medicinal properties, I have normal lips again. The scent may not be for everyone, but for the sake of having beautiful lips, I can tolerate it. I actually enjoy the cool sensation after applying it.

My favorite lip balm, perfect for carrying in the pocket or using at home. I love both the sensation on my lips and its functionality. It moisturizes my lips, making it my favorite for cold walks. However, I feel that the version in the jar is more nourishing and healing compared to the one in the tube. Or maybe they are the same... I can't understand.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I've been using it for probably 5 years and loved everything about it. But now, it horribly dries out my lips. I have to apply it every 10 minutes because it feels extremely uncomfortable, like my lips are being pulled tight.

The balm is not sticky and moisturizes well. It is truly one of the best options for those with dry lips.

The scent is like the "Star" balm. You can smell the camphor and mint. I adore such a scent, so for me, it's only a plus.

I have ordered many times, and the last two times I specifically ordered the one that is shown in the photo. However, I received Carmex Medicated instead, which has a different scent and is not at all like the one in the photo. I am dissatisfied. They carelessly send the wrong product.

The lip balm stings and has an unpleasant smell. The tingling sensation doesn't go away.

I recently ordered this balm for the second time. The first time I tried the cherry flavor, and it had a great scent and moisturizing effect. After using it for 3 days, I can say the following: it doesn't exactly moisturize, but it does a pretty good job at preventing dryness, or rather, it nourishes.

A week after lip augmentation, I applied it to everything I saw around me - Nivea sticks (3-, tight, drying), Maybelline baby lips "cherry" stick (4+, moisturizing, pleasant on the lips, but disappears quickly, I only like the cherry one), and Laneige mask (4+, a great overnight mask with a good composition), everything was temporary and disappeared quickly.

Surprisingly, this balm is enough to apply 2-3 times a day. Yes, it cools due to camphor and menthol.

A big plus is that it doesn't contain Phenol, even though it is present in other forms of this balm. If it really is without Phenol, then I definitely recommend this one.

Too hyped lip balm
At first, it gave results, always a pleasant cooling sensation on the lips after application.
But over time, it only made my lips very dry.
If applied in a very thick layer before bedtime, there will be results in the morning, similar to using regular Nivea during the day, lips will be soft and nourished.
I won't buy it again, fell for the advertisement.

I bought one balm at a makeup store, and the other one in Sweden (shown in the photo).

The one I bought at the makeup store had torn plastic, making it look like a cheap counterfeit (it scratches the lips), and it also had a smell of watercolor paint (where did that come from?).

If you're buying it from a place you trust for quality, this balm is worth the price, it's top-notch.
