Like any monarch, the Queen does not immediately allow you to befriend her. It took me a month of patient approaches before I fell in love with the scent. Lady Vengeance, on the other hand, turned out to be much friendlier - I applied it and loved it right away. In fact, under the impression of Lady Vengeance, I decided to try Queen. At first, it didn't work out - it smelled like a rag soaked in gasoline and covered in dust. I don't remember the specific temperature at that time, whether it was humid or sunny, but I didn't want to use Queen. Knowing that some fragrances just need time to get used to, I started experimenting with the dosage. Eventually, I concluded that I could spray it on my bare skin, but not on my hair or clothes. And there shouldn't be any cosmetic scents on that skin. That's when it finally happened - a very unique scent emerged. The opening is soft, with a floral freshness of iris, lasting about half an hour. Then comes the suede, delicate, well-crafted, beautifully scented and powdery. It's an excellent, almost perfect leather fragrance for me - not suffocating, unconventional. Soft transitions from leather to field flowers in the end. It's beautiful and long-lasting. I don't feel any trail from it, it's more of a "personal scent", but it definitely changes my mood. It adds grace, makes me want to be composed, and soothes with warmth. In my opinion, it's not age-specific, just like the main suede theme that I love in it - it's suitable for young girls with suede accessories, bracelets, and mature ladies with suede gloves. However, those who prefer fresh, watercolor-light scents might not like it. It can be irritating if you're not used to the strong expression of notes, and here it is very vivid. If you love cohesive, solid perfumes, definitely test Queen before purchasing!
