I purchased the brown one. The only positive aspect is that the color is indeed brown, for those who find it important. And that's it. The mascara is just plain bad, very mediocre. The price, in my opinion, is too high. The mascara doesn't do anything, even with several coats. Although the shape of the brush should curl and lengthen the lashes.
This is simply incredible!! My mom has been wanting a high-quality green mascara for a long time, one that would be vibrant only in the light. She adores Yves Saint Laurent, but it is impossible to find them anywhere in stock. She searched for something similar and of good quality for a long time. And here it is. She found this unbelievable beauty. Mom is thrilled! I definitely recommend it. Very nice color, composition, and quality. Highly recommended! Ten out of ten. And very fast delivery, by the way!
I have purchased the blue mascara twice and I really liked it. It applies well on the lashes and doesn't smudge. However, the last time I bought the black mascara and it was terrible. It made my lashes clump together, look short, and stick out in different directions. I will throw it away.

It shortens and clumps the lashes as if gel was applied to them - it doesn't enhance, it makes them worse. It doesn't even add volume, it makes the lashes sparse.
Maybe it's a great find for hypersensitive eyes. But beauty is out of the question...
I also have sensitive eyes, this mascara really doesn't cause any burning or discomfort. But the way it looks on the lashes is a quiet horror!!!
There are much better brands that also have gentle mascara for the eyes. I decided to try this as something new. And I regretted it very much!

Today, I took it out, applied it, and had to remove it all, again!

I purchased the brown mascara, as I was not familiar with this brand before. It's quite good, as it doesn't leave clumps and gives a natural look to the lashes - if you prefer that kind of effect. However, there's a small detail - in order to coat the hairs, you need to spend quite some time moving the brush around. This mascara is not the type that you can apply with just two strokes and be done. It requires some effort. But because of its brown color and the absence of clumps on the lashes, I forgive it for that.

I didn't understand the negative reviews)) I switched to this mascara after using a brown Dior one, and I am very satisfied. The only thing is that the Mavala brown is slightly darker than the Dior one. The brush is different, but not worse, just different. As they say here, "you need to learn how to apply it" - you don't need to, unless it's your first mascara ever.
I always use mascara for both my eyelashes and eyebrows. This one is perfect. I was afraid it wouldn't be suitable for my eyebrows, but it's all good.
