The liquid is very gentle and almost oily - that's true. I bought the first bottle elsewhere, but then I ordered another one from Makeup because on this website, all Mavala products are cheaper than in other stores. The only downside is that it smells awful! I can't remember how acetone-based products smelled, but I don't think even they smelled so terrible. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the condition of my nails right now, so I will continue to buy this product. Thanks to the store!
