Knowing is one of the most beautiful perfumes. It has a luxurious, elegant, and prestigious scent. After the first spray, the smell is loud, distinct, and reminiscent of cologne, but after a few hours, it starts to unfold. I don't detect any sweetness or honey notes; for me, it has a slightly bitter and astringent quality. It has a very long-lasting and strong sillage, and the scent remains on clothes for several days. It is a masterpiece that won't go unnoticed; it is highly compliment-worthy. However, it is important to apply it in moderation.

I can only feel it on myself for about 10 minutes. It starts off promising but doesn't stay on me. It sounds more interesting in cold weather. In desperation, I sprayed it on my fur hat. I couldn't feel it on myself or the fur anymore after an hour. My friends, however, can smell it on themselves and say it resembles Chanel 19. I am disappointed. I don't understand why it's like this.

I must say, it's not the same Knowing as it was in the 90s, but still, there is no disappointment - the scent is quite recognizable, although it sounds more subdued now. It lacks the brightness, sharpness, challenge, and audacity that made it so unique, original, complex, and unlike any other fragrance. Unfortunately, its longevity and sillage are just average.

I brought the perfume home and started getting acquainted with it. The scent was very strong and sharp, not very pleasant, but since it was already mine, I decided that I needed to make friends with it somehow.

One of my friends had a birthday coming up, and I, being a brunette, wearing a beautiful maroon dress and vibrant lipstick, wanted to wear it. I applied a spritz on the back of my neck, under my hair, and sprayed it into the air, immersing myself in its veil. After half an hour, I was delighted with how it unfolded. This scent is not something you come across every day, and that evening I received a lot of compliments.

The fragrance is simply wonderful, but not for those who prefer light perfumes. Chypre is chypre after all.

Recently, this has been my biggest disappointment. It's just terrible. To make it clear, it feels like the early 90s when I open my mom's closet and find many small bottles with dark brown liquid (probably everyone had those), but the labels are unreadable now. I open one of the bottles and I smell this oily, cologne-like, heavy scent that matches its color. I can't say what it smells like. Never, ever buy it without trying it first. This fragrance needs to be understood, it needs to be worn properly. I don't even know what to do with it now. Its longevity is beyond belief.
