I usually buy Mary Kay powder 002. But after reading the reviews, I decided to try this one. And it's half the price. But when I applied it on my face, I was disappointed. Tone 002 is too white, it doesn't match the photo. It's like chalk on my face. I wear glasses and with other powders there is no such thing, after this powder even glasses on the bridge of the nose become dirty from it. Terrible powder and a pity for the money spent.
Easy to use, good even coverage, lasts all day.
I purchased shade 6 for tanned skin. Complete disappointment! It is too light and has a "porky" pink undertone. Definitely not suitable for yellow undertones.
If you are hesitating between a lighter shade and a darker one, choose the darker one. The powder is smooth like porcelain. I absolutely do not recommend this powder for owners of oily skin. It leaves patches and does not blend well. It may be suitable for dry skin. I was disappointed and once again ordered Color Me.
I had to buy it twice because I didn't get the right shade the first time. I have fair skin, so I always buy the lightest shades in any tinted products, but shade 02 is only for albinos. Shade 04 works well, it covers redness nicely, but there are some nuances in the application. Using a sponge (which is not included) makes it easy to apply too much and the coverage becomes uneven. The same applies when applying with a brush, if you use "killing" strokes, it can streak. You need to get used to it. I have oily skin, so it doesn't stay matte for long, but I haven't found a better option (including in terms of ingredients) yet.
This powder is really great. It applies smoothly and evenly on the skin, providing a nice matte finish and effectively concealing redness. The skin tone remains even for a long time. I have the shade 006, which is perfect for light, slightly yellowish skin during the summer. I also use the concealer from the same brand in shade 04, which is also fantastic. I am satisfied with both products.
I have been in love with this powder for a long time. It covers rosacea and couperose flawlessly. Yes, you need to apply a thick layer, but it really evens out the skin tone. The texture is velvety (I have combination skin), and the shade 002 is perfect for winter. Regarding "stripes," they might appear, but they blend out easily. I have also used Loreal True Match Minerals, which also provides good coverage, but it has been discontinued.
I used to buy a Mary Kay loose powder but unfortunately, it is not produced anymore. I thought ivory is a good option for me since I bought this shade in Mary Kay. I was not successful in my choice because it is too pale for my type of skin.
Also, I would say that this powder has quite tight texture.
Best powder, applies evenly, corrects flaws well, long-lasting, 10 out of 10.
The powder is really strange. After some time of application, it goes on in streaks, especially on the T-zone. I tried different brushes, applied it over foundation, applied it on clean skin - but still ended up looking like a zebra. It's worth mentioning that I have dry skin, so I can't blame it on oiliness. It usually mattifies, but I didn't notice any special qualities. Compared to Mary Kay's mineral powder (the classic one), this powder is a complete disappointment and a waste of money.
The fourth shade is quite light and can be considered neutral on the face, although it appears intimidatingly orange in the jar. In terms of mineral brands classification, it would be something between light neutral and light medium neutral.
Unfortunately, on my face (which is oily), unlike pure mineral brands, the powder doesn't last until evening – it settles into pores and creases and seems to clump together.
The coverage is average, but I can't call it either beautiful or invisible, and the longer the powder stays on the face, the more noticeable it becomes.
This was my first mineral powder, and I absolutely don't regret it. Despite being lightweight, it does a great job of enhancing the face without giving a mask-like effect. It is also very economical - it lasted me for two years with daily use. I highly recommend it.
The powder is terrible. It excessively dries out the skin, and after applying it, it feels like wearing a mask on the face. Additionally, I noticed a lot of acne and red spots appearing after using the powder. I do not recommend it.
After the first application, I had to immediately wash it off due to the unpleasant feeling of tightness on my face. Later, I experienced a spotty red rash. I do not recommend it for those with sensitive skin. Shade 004 is very pale.
I really liked this powder. I got shade 6, which gives a very subtle sun-kissed glow for fair skin. It doesn't make the skin look yellow or pink, and it blends perfectly. It stays well on combination skin until the evening, without making the T-zone oily. I'm very satisfied and will definitely buy it again.
