The foundation applied better on top of a regular cream. However, it mattifies the skin. From the first few seconds of application, it caused a tingling sensation on my cheeks and nose. I don't dare to apply it again to check, as these little pimples have not gone away yet.

I really liked it. I apply it under my foundation, and the matte effect lasts for 3-5 hours on my combination skin. Then, if necessary, I apply it again on top of my makeup. It gives a velvety feeling to the skin and spreads evenly, and most importantly, it eliminates shine. I will definitely purchase it again.

The foundation catastrophically fails to deliver on its promised functions, it doesn't mattify at all, it only makes things worse. After applying it, my skin becomes even more oily, it clogs my pores, and after just a couple of days of using it, I got pimples, which is unacceptable for such a product. I have combination skin, oily in the T-zone and dry on my cheeks. I never had such problems with a similar base before. Overall, I continue to be disappointed in L'Oreal products, even though I used to rely on this brand completely. Powders, lipsticks, creams, fluids, eyeliners, and now even the base are not what they used to be. The only thing I still like from them is mascara. I wonder how long it will be until I get disappointed in that too...

Honestly, I didn't notice any significant difference with or without this primer, even though I apply it correctly. I hope to eventually see a difference and give it a try. For now, I can't say anything except that the texture of the primer feels soft and velvety.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this silicone primer. I'm glad I don't always pay attention to reviews because what didn't work for someone else worked perfectly for me. However, it may emphasize the texture on flaky skin, so it's better to use it if you don't have obvious issues like that. Alternatively, you can moisturize beforehand and do a gentle exfoliation.

I have oily skin in the T-zone. I use the "Matte Coverage" - L'Oreal Paris 24h Infallible as a base for my long-lasting foundation. I am extremely satisfied with the results! It stays on for a long time, and even with powder, the shine doesn't appear until later. However, I can simply touch up with powder once more during the day and that's it.

I am finishing my second tube of this product. I have combination skin, sometimes dry on my cheeks and oily in the T-zone. This primer is perfect for me. It smooths out any dry patches and minimizes pores. I also have a mattifying primer from NYX, but for some reason, I find myself reaching for the L'Oréal one more often.

I only buy this foundation during the winter period when my skin is closer to dry (my skin type is generally normal). It effectively removes dryness, evens out my complexion, and smooths out all imperfections. The foundation applies perfectly! However, it is definitely not suitable for oily skin.

First of all, I did not notice any mattifying effect (neither in terms of sensation nor throughout the day). On the contrary, when applied to the face, it feels greasy. It does not prevent makeup from shining throughout the day. Whether with it or without it :(
Secondly, my favorite foundation Maybelline Fit Me Matte does not sit well on this primer. It applies easily and evenly on clean skin, but on this primer, it seems to smear like on a plastic bag and does not "settle". It simply wipes off my face with every touch :( So it didn't work for me.
BUT: it effectively smoothes out dryness and does not cause clogged pores. Maybe it will work well if used on top of powder only.

Well, what can I say... this primer is not as "unbeatable" as I would have liked.
Without any doubts, it is better with it than without it - it does mattify the skin, to the point of a slight... numbness, if you will, I don't even know how to describe it. And foundation applies much smoother on it, even the amount used seems to be less. But during the day, literally three to four hours after applying makeup, the base still slides off, you either have to touch up with foundation/concealer or powder yourself, and that is the main drawback, in my opinion, for a product like this. You can say that it doesn't quite fulfill its purpose.
If the base does hide any dry patches, it's very minimal, and it doesn't really minimize pores. The scent, I wouldn't say it's very pleasant, it's somewhat bitter-silicone-like.
I'll use up the little bottle because it's a waste of money, and in the end, the product's flaws are tolerable for winter, but I doubt I'll order it again.

My first primer. It mattifies, but oily shine still appears in the middle of the day, cannot do without blotting papers. I have combination skin. This is my first ever primer. I am extremely satisfied with it, as it mattifies excellently and has a pleasant scent. I apply it with a brush, blending it with my BB cream because I made a mistake in choosing the shade and it turned out to be slightly dark. It works really well, giving my face a fresh look without any mask effect. I highly recommend it!

This product provides excellent matte coverage and is a great foundation.
