I have been using this hair dye for the past 6 years. I have a few gray hairs scattered on my head. I always choose natural colors from the sixth row. When my hair grows out, you can't visually see a difference, so I dye it every 2-3 months. I used OXY 6% for many years, even when I didn't have gray hair. Now I've tried mixing it 1:1 with 3%, which gives me 4.5%, and it damages my hair less. The dye applies nicely and I leave it on for 40-45 minutes.

This is a good paint. I am giving it 4 stars for now because I have only used it once and I don't know how it will wash out in the long run. I switched to 4n Matrix Color 4n, which is no longer available in any stores. Compared to Matrix, it has less pigment. It covered 3% of gray hair. But I always use a deep cleanse before dyeing and leave the dye on for 60 minutes with this developer. 30 ml of dye and 30 ml of developer were enough for the roots.

I purchased the 8GB size. I used it with a 6% developer. The consistency of the dye is thick. The color is not fading, very beautiful, rich, and natural! It does not dry out the hair, but I didn't notice any additional care effect. What I liked about this dye (it was my first time trying this brand) is the color. I finally achieved the result I've been wanting for a long time! Now I want to stick with this brand. The only downside is that it doesn't cover grey hair well. For this reason, I deduct one star.

The hair dye is mediocre. The price is outrageous considering that the dye doesn't hold on to the hair any better than ones that are three times cheaper. It's disappointing that there is no developer in small quantities - I bought a large bottle and now I can't get rid of it, even though it would have been easier to throw away the leftover developer with the money I spent on this dye. The hair feels like a sponge after dyeing, unpleasant. I used to dye my hair with Russian Estel, and I guess I'll go back to it. It doesn't wash out as much, and the hair looks wonderful, soft and smooth. And it doesn't smell as horribly of ammonia as the praised Goldwell.
I tried 11P and 11V with 6% developer. For a cool blonde shade on light brown hair, 11P gives a violet "grayness" after coloring, but after a couple of oil masks and hair washes, it leaves a very beautiful cool blonde shade. 11V immediately gives a nice color without any dull tones, but it washes out to an unpleasant yellow over time, so you have to choose what's more convenient: wash it out until you get the desired shade or endure a bad color later on.

5NA is a dark cool brunette shade that completely covers gray hair. However, with repeated use, it gradually turns into a true brunette, almost like raven wings.
5MP is a chestnut shade with a pearly sheen that effectively disguises gray hair. It is the perfect shade for men as it doesn't completely cover gray hair but also avoids any reddish tones. This shade gives the impression that a man with brown hair has just started graying, with a slight silvering on the temples.
By alternating between these two shades, you can maintain a dark cool chestnut shade with slightly different color nuances.
Unfortunately, shade 5MBP is not available on this website, but it is a shade with a subtle pinkish undertone.
I would like to add to my review from July 17, 2016. This hair dye does restore the hair, but only initially. After six months, my hair started breaking off like straw. My hairdresser told me that this dye has a cumulative effect and should not be used constantly. Therefore, the dye is good as a restorative method, but only periodically. This is true for any professional product. It is a shame that the manufacturer does not mention this.
After several months of use, the quality of my hair has improved. It's not a "Wow" effect, but I hope for further improvement. It covered my gray hair. I dye my roots once a month. Matrix loses to this dye in all aspects.
