The exfoliating particles are not small, but rather large and noticeable. After using it, my skin feels tight, just like with other scrubs (despite using a nourishing cream afterwards). Therefore, I did not experience any softening or moisturizing effects as described in the product description (for me, this is nonsensical - how can a scrub moisturize?).
