In 1999, the fashion house from Japan, Comme des Garcons, introduced a luxurious unisex fragrance named #2. The creation of this magnificent oriental composition was inspired by the extraordinary, captivating scent of sumi – legendary calligraphy ink traditionally made in Japanese temples. This inspiration led the world-renowned English perfumer Mark Buxton to craft the fragrance. The enticing composition unfolds with a blend of light and bright artificial aldehyde accords, highlighted by natural extracts of juicy citrus fruits and elegant magnolia.
The heart of the fragrance is composed of rich accords of black ink framed by notes of nutmeg, angelica root, and coriander. The refinement of the fragrance is completed with a combination of classic accords of patchouli, cedar, vetiver, and juniper berry oil, as well as noble frankincense. The #2 fragrance is housed in an original silver pebble-shaped bottle, which perfectly accentuates the uniqueness of this exquisite oriental perfume.

I bought it here. It has been on my wishlist for a long time. The scent feels diluted. Despite my respect for CDG, it fades away after 20 minutes, causing us to lose the understanding of the brand's DNA. It's strange because blackpepper and wonderoud didn't disappoint and were also purchased here.

Wear this fragrance during the damp, cold autumn months of November and December. This scent was initially created for the Japanese winter, when tiny droplets of water freeze in the air during the onset of cold weather. It is during this time that the perfume becomes incredibly unique, creative, and intellectual... It truly is a revelation! However, it may not be suitable for everyone.
I really love it. For me, it's like coziness in a bottle. It reminds me of a very concentrated dried fruit compote, with apricot, plum (even though it's not claimed to have it), maybe it's because of dzhigit and wood. I didn't use it in the summer, but now that autumn has come, I can't live without it.
The scent is extraordinary, with notes of vetiver that are soft and warm. In my opinion, it is unisex.

I am a fan of Garsonov's fragrances, but this one was the first, 15 years ago, and it remains my favorite. Despite having a fairly large collection, I have repeated this fragrance five times, which is a record of its kind. CdG perfumes have a certain signature, something that distinguishes them from all other aromas and brands. A solo note of strangeness. I don't see the point in breaking it down by pyramid. But knowing Number Two by heart, I can say that over the years it has remained the same and just as beautiful. There is no difference between testers and full bottles! And I think it's foolish to find differences between 100ml, 50ml, and 25ml sizes. What are you thinking? The perfume simply unfolds differently in different seasons, on different skin, and, excuse me, depending on one's mood and taste. I repeat, I have loved Number Two for 15 years and I know it well. I recommend testing it, but it's not for everyone.

I'm wearing this fragrance, not just any fragrance, but "apricot juice with pulp". There's no soap or metal or ironed shirts here, just sweet apricot. It is long-lasting and stays the same from beginning to end, like a single note. It feels light and not heavy, but I can constantly smell it, leaving a trail. I would categorize it as a Molecule style, not in terms of its sound, as they are completely different, but in terms of how all these watery, abstract fragrances are.
The fragrance is long-lasting, very beautiful, and has a lingering scent. The mini version is of the same quality as the full-sized bottle, which is 50ml.

This is MY scent!!! It's my absolute favorite and so versatile. I've been using it regularly for over 15 years. It unfolds differently on different skin types, so that's why there are different reviews about the scent from different people))) It's long-lasting, clothes still smell even after washing.

I bought this fragrance a couple of weeks ago based on the reviews and also because I like other CDG scents. Honestly, it's a strange smell. Definitely not unpleasant, but somehow impossible to "figure out". I can detect mandarin. And something like a medicinal scent. And maybe some powdery sweetness. It's ambiguous, in general. Not particularly long-lasting, in my opinion. The packaging is cool.

I have been trying out this fragrance for a long time, about a year, you could say I've worn it out. At first, I tested it at Brocard, then I bought a miniature version. And now, it's finally happened! I have it in 100ml.
My first impression is that it's a masculine cologne, sharp at the beginning, then it reminds me of household soap (if it's more delicate, it smells like cleanliness), and then dried fruits (more specifically, dried apricots). I can't detect mandarin, but it's more like grapefruit. There are also resonating metallic notes present. It's difficult to describe what comes next, perhaps ink and magnolia. The scent is very dense and rich.
The deciding factor in buying it was a compliment from a colleague, "it smells like youth."
So, as a lover of long-lasting, heavy, oriental fragrances, I felt the desire for something spring-like, and it exceeded my expectations. It's substantial, modern, stylish, and memorable.

I bought this product for myself and I am completely satisfied. If you want to stand out in the vast sea of fruit cocktails, give it a try, it might be your thing. The scent is so unusual that it's very difficult to describe. If you're expecting a fresh mandarin fragrance, you will be disappointed because there is very little mandarin in it. The base of the fragrance is spices, but they are not heavy eastern spices, rather they are tingling and metallic. This fragrance is not for a cute kitten, but for a strong-willed woman.

Girls, I have been using this perfume for 10 years, along with others, of course. Number two is one of my favorite and never gets boring perfumes. I highly recommend using it during wet and rainy autumn days (October, November) - that's when it fully unfolds and true magic begins! In principle, the perfume was created for drizzling cool days.
So, how light is it? One of the most complex fragrances I know. Just reading the pyramid is enough to understand how intricate it is. And I don't understand people who say it doesn't have a sillage. There is suuuuch a trail left in the air after it! Most likely, you just can't hear it yourself. The only bad thing about it is that for some reason, people often apply more than necessary, but just one drop, one spray is enough for the whole day, and it will still be noticeable the next morning.
This is it!!!!! I was very worried that something would be wrong.... I haven't bought them in Ukraine yet! I opened the box with trepidation, touched them, smelled them - no doubts! THEY ARE IT!!!! Thank you!!! And the price is just superb!
