An oriental oud is the leitmotif throughout the fragrance. The top notes of the composition are oriental rose, saffron, and freesia. At the heart of the fragrance, patchouli, heliotrope, and violets harmonize. The base notes of the fragrance are sensual oud and leather.
Initially, the fragrance unveils a slightly bitter, astringent scent that unfolds into a warm, powdery trail. In terms of design, the brand has stayed true to itself - the bottle is golden in color, adorned with the image of Medusa's head. This fragrance creates a specific atmosphere. It transports you with just one breath to the distant journeys we all dream about.
I would like to add to the review: the fragrance is indeed very long-lasting. The next day, all of my clothes smelled of beautiful powder with hints of sandalwood and amber - it was truly exquisite and luxurious.
This fragrance is very sweet and slightly retro, reminiscent of perfumes from the 90s. It starts off with a strong hit of oud, sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla. Once it settles on the skin, rose and saffron notes come through, and it ends with a creamy, woody scent, with even a hint of rose. The rose in this fragrance is red and overripe. Despite its oriental heaviness, the scent doesn't suffocate. It is definitely suited for winter. The bottle is beautiful, although I wish the cap was a bit heavier. It is worth the money, but in this category, you can find many fragrances from Montale or Mancera. It lacks that special something on my nose.
The scent is evening-like, dressy, and velvety. Since I received it three days ago, I can't get enough of it; it reminds me of my grandmother's cosmetic bag. It tells me stories about the boudoirs of courtly ladies, and for some reason, I perceive it in that way. Maybe it's because I can sense that theatrical powder in it, which I can't describe, but that is no longer common nowadays. The fragrance is absolutely not retro. It is very beautiful and unique. Definitely my favorite, and I think it will remain so for a long time.
