Body Butter "Almond & Orange" YAKA

I agree about the smell; it's not very pleasant. However, it does a great job with moisturizing.

The product is quite greasy and doesn't absorb quickly into the skin. If applied in small amounts, it's not too bad, but otherwise, it has a strong waxy scent (like a candle) that lingers for a long time.

The scent in the container is nice and almond-like, but on my skin, it smells like urine. It might be different for everyone, but other girls mentioned experiencing a similar scent. From this series, the one with rose is the best for me.

I'm buying my fifth jar. Different batches do vary in consistency and scent. I use it as a hand and elbow cream at night. I'm not sure if I should credit the cream, but the quality of my nails is amazing. They used to be brittle and always splitting. As for the scent, I pick up a beeswax aroma, which I like. Once, I caught a whiff of what some might call an "old lady" smell, but then it went back to beeswax. I bought a new one today, haven't tried it yet. But it's my fifth jar of this particular version.

The product has an overwhelming smell of machine oil, which triggers a gag reflex. Its consistency is like thick pudding and it's sticky. It's the worst product I've encountered from Yaka.

Great cream, it nourishes and moisturizes well, preventing the skin from flaking, especially in winter. I really liked the scent.

In the box, the oil had a strong bitter almond scent. However, after applying it, an orange fragrance emerged, but it wasn't the citrus scent I expected. Instead, it was a very strong and overpowering orange blossom aroma. After an hour, I had to take a shower to wash it off.

I haven't used it since the first try, so I couldn't determine if it has a moisturizing effect.

It leaves a terrible scent on the skin. The almond smell turns into an odor reminiscent of urine.

For dry skin, this product is just what you need. I recommend it.

I buy it for the texture :) It's very pleasant to apply, provides good hydration, and has a mild, pleasant scent. In the same product line, there's an oil with a rose scent, which has a somewhat strange smell, but this one has a standard and pleasant fragrance.

I didn't buy it here, but I haven't found a better skincare product, especially at such an affordable price. I have very dry hands that often get chapped, and I've tried various creams and masks, but nothing worked as well as this oil. It instantly revitalized my skin, leaving it velvety even after frequent hand washing. Yes, the scent is strong. It feels like I've rubbed marzipan on myself, but I actually like it. The smell fades away after about 5 minutes.

I would like to give this oil a positive review. The unpleasant smell only lasts for about 20 minutes, and then it disappears completely. However, after just one use, my skin feels incredibly smooth and silky. The moisturizing effect lasts for a full day. I have problematic skin and occasional allergies, and I am over 50 years old. This oil does an excellent job of calming my skin. I highly recommend it and plan to purchase it again.

The smell on the skin is awful. When applied, it initially smells like almonds, but after a few minutes, it turns into the stench of dirty socks mixed with something else unpleasant. I had to take another shower and threw the oil away.

I didn't purchase this on Makeup, but I decided to leave a review. The scent is definitely unique and lingers on the skin. However, I really liked the results from using it. I apply it twice a week after a hot bath and body scrub at night, then in the morning, I take a light shower and apply body lotion. I might try other oils from this brand.

For some reason, it smells like marzipan to me, and I can't detect any almond or orange scent at all. The fragrance strongly reminds me of the "Chocolate and Marzipan" Shea Butter Body Cream-Oil by Fresh Juice.

I have been familiar with this brand's creams for a long time, but this is the first time I've purchased this particular one. I have to agree with some comments regarding the scent. It has a very strong almond fragrance, which might not be to everyone's liking. However, it does a good job of moisturizing the skin. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars, mainly because of the scent.

Amazing oil! My skin feels hydrated and nourished. Even if I forget to apply it after a shower, the effects from the previous application still last. I'm extremely pleased with this oil.

The scent deserves special mention. In the jar, it smells a bit strong—what do you expect, almond oil has its own distinct scent. However, on the skin, it transforms into the fragrance of floral meadows and forest honey. With this oil, you don't even need perfume. Your skin smells divine.

But if you do want to use perfume, the oil's scent doesn't overpower it.

The quality of the cream is still decent, but those who remember the original formulation when it first came out will notice a difference. Unfortunately, like many things, it has gotten worse over time.

Amazing foot cream! It incredibly softens the skin and prepares it for pumice exfoliation. If you shower in the morning, apply the cream to your feet at night, and then clean them in the shower. The results are simply fantastic!

This body oil has amazing properties. I previously used the Rose scent (which I absolutely love), so I decided to try the Almond and Orange variant. However, the scent completely ruined it for me—it's just awful. In the jar, it smells fine, and for the first 20 minutes on the skin, it's okay too. But then something changes, and it starts to smell like unwashed vagrants, reminiscent of three-day-old urine. I thought it might just be my skin's reaction, so I let a friend try it, and she had the same experience! Clearly, something needs to be done about the fragrance composition of this particular cream. (Just to note, the Rose variant is fantastic both in scent and properties. I haven't tried the Lemon and Mint yet.)

I used to alternate between this oil and the Rose version, but over time I noticed that it really dries out my skin. My skin isn't extremely dry, but the oil made it even drier. I've now switched to a cream oil from Fresh Juice, and I like it much better. This oil has a pleasant scent, a thick consistency, and a smooth, melting texture, but unfortunately, it no longer suits me. It's important to remember that everyone's experience is different.

The scent is fine; I'm quite picky, but it really is pleasant. It moisturizes the skin well without leaving any residue. I order it for myself, my mom, and my sister. For example, get acquainted with the scent of bitter almonds, even in its oil form—that's exactly what this cream smells like, with a subtle hint of orange oil (not the fruit itself, but the oil!). Once you do, you'll stop imagining unpleasant odors like sweat, old people, or medicine. Just a bit of poetic insight. I'm almost sad that the almond scent fades on the skin, but it's actually a good thing—it won't clash with your perfume.

As for the cream itself, the consistency is pleasant: thick and rich, it doesn't absorb instantly (which is typical for natural oils!). Yet, it doesn't leave a greasy film on my dry skin. Coconut oil is greasier, takes longer to rub in, and leaves a slight shine, but this cream doesn’t, making it suitable for daytime use. I really (!) liked it and hope it won't be discontinued. The store and delivery were excellent as always, and the expiration date was in order.

The smell!!!!! It might be an okay product, but I can't even open the jar. When I used a little just once, everyone asked what that awful smell was.
