Eyeshadow Base - NYX Professional Makeup High Definition Eye Shadow Base
I didn't buy it here, but... The base is perfect. It applies easily, without any smell, absorbs quickly, and most importantly - the eyeshadows don't crease all day! I've tried several eyelid primers already, and this is the first one that actually works! It's one of those cases when I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews))
This is the best primer! I've been buying it probably for the 5th time now. It lasts for about one and a half years with almost daily use! Even the cheapest eyeshadows stay on for 12-14 hours. I don't even want to experiment with other primers. Even if they are cheaper and on sale.
This is my first eyeshadow base, so I have nothing to compare it with. It applies easily and evenly. The eyeshadows adhere and blend well, and my makeup doesn't crease. I highly recommend it!
The foundation is excellent, as it does not cause any burning or eye allergies. It also has impressive staying power.
This product is really great. It kept my eyeshadow on for 12 hours without any problems. Apply the same amount of product on one eyelid as the applicator allows. When you apply less, the product is not as effective. I also recommend applying a layer of light eyeshadow on top after it dries a bit, for easier blending.
When it comes to eye makeup, I always use a base because I have slightly oily eyelids and eyeshadows don't stay on without a base. The base slightly evens out the color of my eyelids, working like a concealer. As for the longevity of the makeup, I can say that this base is far from the best. Some eyeshadows crease on it after a few hours, while others last until I remove my makeup. I haven't yet understood why this happens, as I usually use eyeshadows from different palettes. I hope to figure out what the problem is. However, for example, with the base from Artdeco, I didn't have this issue, my makeup stayed on all day and looked great, no matter which eyeshadows I applied. The problem with that base was that it dried up quickly and I couldn't use it until the end. So I was looking for a replacement in a format similar to the base from NYX, where the contact with air would be minimal. By the way, I once had a base from Bourjois in the same format and it was fantastic. Overall, it's okay, but it doesn't live up to the quality for the price. If I don't find a solution for this product, I will go back to Artdeco.

Let me say in advance that this is the best primer I've ever had in my life. Shadows don't stick to my eyelids without a primer, and no matter how many I've tried, none has lasted longer than 2-3 hours. But this primer is simply perfect - the color, texture, and ease of use are outstanding, and it lasts a long time. Most importantly, it keeps the eyeshadows in place all day long.

I purchased this base based on the reviews. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I didn't see anything special about this base. The shadows blend and stay the same as with a concealer and powder. At first, I didn't understand what the issue was with darker shades because I have well-pigmented shadows, but they started to apply as a semi-transparent layer no matter how many layers I applied. Then I realized that the problem was with the base, as I don't have such problems with concealer and powder. It is great for a light makeup, but not suitable for a smoky look, for example. Moreover, the base has an unpleasant scent. My conclusion: it's not a bad product, but if I already have a concealer and powder, why do I need something else? I won't buy it again :)

My first eyeshadow base. I bought it on the eve of New Year for evening makeup. Well, the makeup bravely lasted until morning :) The eyeshadows apply easily, blend well, and don't fall out. However, it also depends on the quality of the eyeshadows, and honestly, I didn't notice any significant difference between using a concealer and powder (which I always use) and using this base. I will continue trying it out, maybe this purchase will prove itself, but I won't order it again.

The eyeshadows stay put perfectly on oily skin. They don't smudge or come off. You can even use them wet to intensify the pigments. I'm glad I bought them. Compared to Ardell, these eyeshadows are more enjoyable to use because they self-fix as they dry and don't get patchy like Ardell's (which doesn't dry at all and needs to be fixed with other eyeshadows).

It is flesh-colored, similar to a concealer, and gives a corresponding toning and refreshing effect, so it seems that you can use it without eyeshadows. Eyeshadows and pencils hold just as well as with other bases - not bad, but not super, the effect does not last all day. Overall, satisfied.

Great base, everything is fine. I have an Artdeco base in a glass jar with a black lid, and it tends to clump, unlike this one which is super light and didn't cause any allergies. I highly recommend it, especially if you have oily eyelids.
I completely disagree with the statement that this base is similar to the ARTDECO base. The eyeshadows do not last for several hours with this base, and after this time, they horribly crease and not evenly.

This is my first primer and I am completely satisfied with it. Just a thin layer is enough to make the eyeshadows more vibrant and keep my makeup intact until the evening. It even holds up my eyeliner that used to smudge at the slightest hint of moisture. Maybe for super bright neon shades, it would be better to use a white base because this primer is slightly transparent and only evens out the eyelid tone without overly brightening it. However, for everything else, it is perfect.

The base is really cool. I conducted an experiment: I applied bright eyeshadows directly on one eyelid without a base, and on the other eyelid with a base. With the base, the makeup stayed on much longer, it didn't smudge, and the bright pink color didn't become dull.
A light cream-based foundation. It is cost-effective and slightly tightens upon drying, but this sensation quickly disappears. It holds eyeshadows firmly without ruining the mascara (I have slightly droopy and oily eyelids, plus sensitive eyes). It is easy to remove with hydrophilic oil.

I didn't like it at all, the makeup smudges in the summer and it doesn't hold anything. I'll be looking for another option. There isn't anything better than Bourjois for now, but they discontinued it.
