Reviews about Joanna Argan Oil Silk Elixir

Joanna Argan Oil Silk Elixir is both wonderful and terrible hair oil with argan oil (as it turns out, the prominent label "ARGAN OIL" on the bottle is nothing more than a lure by ruthless marketers).

I bought it here back in February-March 2017 (when it cost 170 UAH), when the ingredients were not yet listed. Oh... wait. They still haven't been listed in the description, but they took a photo of them. Although, what difference does it make, since I've had the bottle for a long time.

Anyway, the pump of the product is excellent.
The oil smells divine, like a deliciously rich honeyed nectar.

It's a good thing my intuition made me ignore the instructions and only apply the oil to the ends, because the main ingredients in the formula (also the leading ones) completely contradict the manufacturer's recommendation to "massage into the roots and DO NOT RINSE". No way.

Allow me a moment of absurdity! Here's the composition:

cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol, cyclohexasiloxane, amodimethicone, isopropyl myristate, argania spinosa kernel oil, tocopheryl acetate, parfum, butylphenyl methylpropional, coumarin, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, cl:40800.

What do we see? The first ingredients are silicone substances/compounds (I don't know the correct term, I'm not a chemist at all). Try to find a NON-allergenic substance in the whole list!

But applying it to the SCALP is just an incredibly absurd recommendation, because the 4th ingredient - amodimethicone - "Forms a film on the skin, causing it to tighten, clogs pores, CAUSES THE APPEARANCE OF DANDRUFF AND HAIR LOSS with prolonged use".

Well, they should have written on the bottle: "A product AGAINST hair" and there would be no complaints.

By the way, my ends are satisfied. I apply it to dry hair as a heat protectant and to reduce frizz. And the lingering scent of the oil insists that you won't need any perfume on that day.

But I won't be getting this product from someone's bipolar disorder again. Sorry, Joanna.

I really liked the oil, it has a very pleasant scent and doesn't leave the hair greasy after application. It also makes combing the hair much easier.

The oil does not have a cumulative effect. It only temporarily beautifies the hair. My hair is long, thick, and fluffy after washing, but the oil did not give me any noticeable cumulative effect. On the positive side, it has a very nice smell, like some kind of honey. Well, it also contains argan oil, although it is almost last in the list of ingredients.

I really liked this oil! It doesn't make my hair greasy and is a great option for dry ends, all at an affordable price!

Hmm.. I am surprised by the reviews. Well, this oil is too greasy for me, at least. I have tried many, the last one was from Gliskur, and it made my hair livelier. The smell here is really nice, but by the evening, my hair loses its beauty, becoming dull and sticky, as if it needs to be washed the next day. Maybe it's just not for me. I have normal, highlighted hair. I gave it to my mother-in-law, I do her hairstyle, and her hair is lively and shiny. It's individual.

Great oil, it worked perfectly for my dry and curly hair. It moisturizes the scalp and gives the hair a laminated look. It's a pity that it has become more expensive, I bought it in October for only 119 UAH.

Very good oil. I use it on my long, wavy, red hair. This product has won my love because it gives magnificent shine, lightness, a delicate scent, and well-groomed appearance. In addition to all this, it repairs the hair structure and nourishes the hair follicles. The convenient dispenser and volume are a plus. Polish cosmetics rule - 80% in my cosmetic bag :)

SIMPLY A MASTERPIECE!!! I am insanely satisfied with this oil, words cannot express it! After dyeing my hair black, it became dry and porous, and I looked like a huge curly puffball. No masks, oils, or moisturizers helped until I found this miracle! Just two drops are enough, and my hair becomes soft, vibrant, and shiny, as if I just left the salon! I am extremely satisfied and will recommend it to everyone. Ladies, if anyone is unsure whether to buy it or not - go ahead and get it, you won't regret it!
