This is truly the most basic shampoo. I liked it. It doesn't dry out my hair, it even moisturizes, I would say. It doesn't affect the greasiness of my hair at all; I wash my hair every two days just like before.
Well, I listened to some reviews saying that this product has no smell, so I decided to buy it. However, it does have a smell, just like any regular shampoo, but it is less strong. I can't figure out which ingredient in the formula is causing it. Even on my thin hair, I have to wash it thoroughly because it gets tangled easily at first, but it becomes normal afterwards.
The shampoo is pretty good: it doesn't have any fragrances or strong smells. I add some essential oil and I'm very pleased with the smell and the appearance of my hair.
I have been using this product for seven years and I am very satisfied. However, it is a base that needs some improvements. I dilute a small amount of the Base in an empty bottle from the same shampoo, along with herbal products like chamomile, savory, or sage, plus one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a few drops of essential oils that I need. I try it as a mixture and the result is excellent. I don't use any other shampoos because I'm scared of their composition. My hair is my pride, thick and shiny. Moreover, the shampoo diluted in this way lathers more easily. I recommend it.
