Enough already with writing about grandmothers! It's like a playground for offending grandmothers. I understand why one might think that way, but not everything that's in your head should be said to everyone around you.
The fragrance is over 100 years old, well of course it won't suit everyone! My recommendation is to read the description of the perfume and test it before writing about grandmothers and complaining.
My wife didn't like it, it smells like an old Soviet hair salon with "grandma's perfume," thankfully I also bought Armani.
I purchased the perfumed water almost a year ago. Thank you MAKEUP for the original product! The longevity is good, I can still feel a light scent even in the evening. I am satisfied!

In my opinion, this fragrance is for people who understand what Legendary Classic is all about! There used to be more aldehydes before, but now they have settled and I no longer feel them.... I miss a bit of that.... But it's magnificent! When I wash my hair, I apply perfume to it afterwards, and on Tuesday, I felt like Chanel! Today is Friday (oops, it's over) and I can't wear anything else because I am all about Chanel! It lasts! Gentle! Tender! And simply - my FAVORITE! I adore it! I hesitated for a long time to go for such a classic, but I finally grew up! If you don't feel like you need it, and just want to be like the majority who talk about it, then it's better not to! Or take a sample and you'll have something to talk about, and you don't have to worry that you have a lot of things you didn't like, although how can you not like it?! Girls, it really is a divine elixir in a bottle!!! When you wear it, you feel like a Queen!!!

Incredible scent! It unfolds differently on every girl, so I would recommend starting with a sample or mini version of this fragrance. On me, it initially smells like citrus, cloves, and vanilla, not overly sweet but rather bittersweet. And then the scent unfolds, and... a very pleasant powdery scent appears on the skin :)
It is very long-lasting, lasting throughout the day, and it smells different throughout the day, but the same final powdery scent captivated me, so I recommend every girl to try it at least once in her life!

I don't like the scent, as mentioned before, it's more like an old lady's perfume. However, it doesn't matter to me if it's considered a classic (and should be respected) or a fruit punch. I'm writing my opinion about this fragrance and how I perceive it. Those who say that anyone who doesn't like it should just move along are not right. Many people (including myself) choose perfume based on reviews, so we need different opinions, both positive and negative.

One must simply grow up to appreciate such a masterpiece of perfumery - it is a classic, and classics are timeless. Throughout all eras, it will be accepted and loved. Not everyone may understand it, but that is not a sin. There will always be a multitude of fans of Chanel No. 5 among those who KNOW how to wear luxurious things. Take red lipstick, for example. It also requires the knowledge of how to wear it properly.

Maybe I'm crazy, but at 25 years old, I love this fragrance. It's just something that my soul gravitates towards. Since I was around 7 years old, I would borrow them from my mom just to inhale this wonderful scent. Thankfully, they blend with my skin and have a creamy-floral ring to them. That's just the kind of grandma I am at 25 years old! I love aldehydes, and no one has ever said they were too heavy on me. In fact, they have complimented me and said they are pleasant. Luckily, many people enjoy and love this fragrance in their surroundings. My boyfriend doesn't mind it at all, he doesn't wrinkle his nose. But actually, I'm not interested in others' opinions whether they like it or not. The most important thing is that I like it. Even if they didn't like it, I would still wear it because that's just my personality.
This is my favorite fragrance. However, not everyone has the same taste, so why belittle someone and "pity" them just because their opinions and preferences don't align with yours? Take off your crowns, put on Chanel no. 5, and accept that yes, not everyone loves and understands it. Hello, I have a sample and I really want to buy the full size. I have read many reviews stating that this fragrance is for people over 50, but I am not sure about that. I am 19 years old and I absolutely love it. This fragrance doesn't go well with jeans and Adidas, it is more suited for a mink coat and a nice dress!
Dear ladies, please don't dismiss this fragrance. It may not be your cup of tea, and that's okay, but saying that it's only for people over 50 is nonsense and funny.

Today I received Chanel No. 5 tester with a 100 ml cap from the warehouse in Europe. It was packaged in sealed plastic wrap instead of a box, but I have no complaints about that. It was delivered quickly and in quality packaging without any damage. I would like to thank the warehouse workers and senders for that. I must say that I have heard about this fragrance, but I personally have never bought it and I am not familiar with the scent. I bought it randomly, yes, I have a strange character. Before this order, I bought three samples: "Si" by Giorgio Armani, Roses Greedy, and Guerlain - I wanted to choose something from them. I wore them for a while and they smelled nice, but they didn't seem to have a lasting scent. Although two of the samples were delivered to me with only a few sprays in the vial, which was not very pleasant. And suddenly, out of nowhere, without any samples, I ordered a tester with a cap of Chanel No. 5!! Therefore, when I received it, I was a bit scared, what if I didn't like it? I was afraid of disappointment, and for about 10 minutes, I couldn't bring myself to wear it. I just looked at it, remembering the reviews about "old grandmas" and "soapy scent," etc. But then curiosity took over fear and I sprayed a couple of times. Oh, nightmare!! The scent of overpowering Indian soap and grandma's powder clearly dominates. But then, the fragrance opened up a bit richer, it was okay, in the final note, sandalwood makes this scent more expensive. Although, honestly, I expected something more exquisite from this fragrance. But I don't want to give up, maybe I didn't fully "break in" this thing. It happens to me sometimes. I decided to put it aside and let it settle. Well, if I change my mind, I will definitely update my review.
This perfume is irresistible; it's so noble and beautiful. I must be lucky because it unfolds beautifully on me. To me, it feels like a creamy softness with flowers, very beautiful and delicate. Personally, this scent makes me feel elegantly expensive, and it gives me a sense of being transported to another time, as that time was beautiful in its own way. It's a shame that many people say it smells bad and that it's a perfume for grandmothers. I don't think it was created for grandmothers, but rather for young women. It's just that at that time, there were other perfumes available. But that doesn't mean we should call it a stinker. Personally, I don't understand Dolce & Gabbana Imperatrice, but I don't call it a stinker either. It's a pity that many people are so categorical about the classic five-star perfumes. This perfume just needs to be understood. Those who are so categorical and call it names are lacking in manners. After all, someone might choose to remain silent or simply say, "It's not for me," whereas others might say, "Yuck." At the very least, there should be respect, as not every fragrance will remain interesting after so much time since its creation. For those who don't understand the scent, just move on. Why write negative things, especially in such a basic way? You probably want to attract attention in this strange manner. The world of perfumery is vast and rich, luckily there are plenty of options to choose from. Find your own fragrance. There's simply your scent and there's the one that isn't yours, that's the only difference.

The fragrance for all seasons, I purchased it when I was younger than 25 years old. This scent is not age-specific, no, it's just that many others don't measure up to it, not suitable for casual wear (there are other fragrances for that). It is very beautiful, but concentration still matters, it's better to choose perfume rather than EDP and EDP rather than EDT.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom, and she liked it.
My daughter brought this perfume from Italy in the summer. At first, the scent seemed more suitable for someone aged 50 and above. However, when I tried wearing it under my fur coat during winter, oh my goodness, it was divine! This fragrance is for expensive, sophisticated women who know their worth. Wearing it is truly an honor.

I absolutely adore this perfume! Of course, I'm not sixteen anymore. :) Maybe in my younger years, I wouldn't have understood it, but now it's a luxurious and deserving scent, completely my own. But what's interesting is that my daughter asks me not to wear "number five" because she says it "smells like grandmothers" :))) However, I don't listen to her. For me, it's the smell of the theater, Love Orlova, the beginning of the last century, decadence. (I'm an elderly woman after all!) Expensive, beloved vintage! By the way, someone once said that Renata Litvinova smells like dead women.
