For 7 UAH, you can buy not just henna but also a dangerous product made of metal and chemicals that can harm your health. It can damage your liver and kidneys, and even lead to cancer. If you want to dye your hair, it's better to use red dye instead of pure henna, which is meant for covering gray hair. I personally mix various ingredients to achieve different shades: cocoa gives an ash-brown color, coffee creates a beautiful chestnut shade, and cinnamon gives a red tint.
Please read the instructions carefully, there is an official Khadi website. To cover gray hair, you can only do it in two steps. The first step is to apply pure red henna to the roots and gray hair, leaving it on for two hours and properly brewing it with lemon juice. No oil! If you have dark hair, you can darken it with coffee separately. Brew strong natural coffee and pour it into the dye, making sure to maintain the brewing temperature. You can let the dye sit in a steam bath for an hour in a slow cooker on the warming setting, or reduce it to half an hour. After coloring and after two hours under plastic wrap and a shower cap, rinse with water to dye the rest of the hair in the base color for one hour. You can add oil, but not olive oil, as it will wash out the color and may turn your hair green. Only dark chestnut will darken the gray hair more and should be brewed with coffee without adding oils. Yes, it's a hassle from 7am until 12 or 1pm, but the result is completely and permanently covered gray hair, you just need to touch up the roots each time. But the dye is worth it - beautiful shade and shine. As for chemically dyed blondes, don't risk it. At best, it won't take, or at worst, it will turn green.

"Pure henna - red" - at first glance, it looks like ordinary henna that you can buy for 7 hryvnias per packet at the store. I thought it would dye my hair, but maybe I was wrong. However, the effect is the same - it makes my scalp itchy and my hair feels like it's falling out, with a dull-copper color. I am disappointed and upset.
The hair dye did not cover the gray completely, but it's a good thing that there wasn't too much gray. I didn't want the color to be too dark, so I was afraid of leaving it on for too long, but 30 minutes was clearly not enough. Next time, I will leave it on for a longer time. However, after dyeing, my hair looks great.
In addition to yesterday's comment, I would like to say that all the green from my hair has disappeared and a beautiful dark brown color has emerged. So, the dye is good and my hair became thicker and more voluminous after using it. In general, it is better to dye your hair in the evening so that it "absorbs" the color overnight.
One positive aspect of this product is that it is natural. However, there are a few negatives: it is very inconvenient to apply and it tends to wash off quickly. Despite these drawbacks, I will continue using it for now.

Now, thanks to Khadi, I will try to grow out my hair length, as this is the only dye that effectively covers gray hair (pre-segmentation with pure henna for 2 hours is a must) and then the main color. I chose the Gold shade, and it truly is gold - not yellow, but golden! The shine is simply unreal.
By the way, the paint does not leak. It also completely dissolves when mixed with water and does not give the feeling of crushed grass when applied to the hair (like when using henna). The set includes gloves and a convenient cap for the head, which I use repeatedly.
I am very satisfied with this hair dye!! During my pregnancy, I was afraid to use regular dye, as well as ammonia-free dye, since they are equally harmful. I looked through options for vegetable dyes and settled on this one. I chose the natural chestnut shade - my hair is naturally blonde, previously dyed chestnut and very sun-damaged, yellowish-orange. The result was a magnificent chestnut color (not dark), and my hair shines beautifully. I used a third of the package for shoulder-length hair, and I had plenty left over. I have already dyed my hair 3 times. Without prior henna application, the gray hair started showing after 2 weeks, but with pre-application, only the newly grown roots are gray. I try to dye my hair once a month, but I think it can be done every 3 weeks. This specific henna does not damage the hair.
The second dyeing after 1.5 months was simply amazing. The chocolate shine shade is a beautiful light brown color that I chose for my lightened russet hair. It covered 20% of my gray hair perfectly, and the shade turned out great. As advised, I will try a red color for pre-pigmentation next time. I also added salt to the water, as recommended.
Simply the best henna I have ever used.

The result was pleasing as the color appeared even and the gray hair was well covered. It has been three weeks since the coloring, and the gray hair has toned down and now has a slight yellowish hue. This is noticeable because I have been using an olive mask and applying amla once a week, in addition to washing my hair daily with organic shampoo and conditioner.
