I have been using this base for a very long time, and it is easy to apply. I find it convenient to apply with my fingers. It is very economical, but you need to tightly close the jar to prevent it from drying out. I have oily eyelids, and the eyeshadows stay well on this base. They do not smudge throughout the day.

Good foundation. Buying it for the second time.

I have been using the Art Deco eyeshadow base for many years now. I use a minerals powder foundation and then before application I dust this over my Eyelids and then I apply the eyeshadow base. I only ever use art deco eyeshadows as I find they have the best pigments and when applied on top of their base mine will stay in place for an entire day. I am in my 60s and it still works on older skin. Always make sure you screw the lid back on tightly, especially if you don't use it every day. I always manage to get to the end of the pot before mine dries out and a small pot used daily will last me for a good six months. I am a professional beauty therapist and I also do makeovers and use it on my clients when I'm doing wedding and special occasion make up. I hope this feedback helps

Great base, I've been using it not for the first time. The eyeshadows last all day, and I apply them with a brush both on the upper and lower eyelids.

The base doesn't work at all. Whether with it or without it, the effect is zero. Shadows crease and become dry and creamy. I used to have this base and it held up well. Now the quality has deteriorated.

I have been using only this base for a long time, and I am satisfied. I have oily skin on my eyelids, and they droop. To prevent them from drying out, I place several layers of food wrap between the lid and the base...and it perfectly preserves its properties for up to six months or more, depending on the frequency of use. :)

The base - it's basically useless! All of the liquid shadows and bases from Vivienne Sabo that I've tried are better than this disappointment of the year. It's a good thing I got it during a promotion. The most it can hold up shadows is half a workday, just a little longer than without a base. After six hours, the shadows gather in the crease of the eyelid, creating an unsightly greasy line. The difference is that the previous products were silicone-based, while this base is oil-based (mineral oil), and it remains oily until you apply the shadows. No matter how much I apply (whether it's just a little or the usual amount), and no matter how long I wait before applying dry shadows, the result is the same. The shadows also stick to it and don't blend well. Before this, all of my makeup easily lasted 12-14 hours until I removed it. In short, it's a waste of money.

I cannot use it at all as it gives a sensation of coldness upon application, resulting in teary eyes. This product is not suitable for me.

I received a completely dried out base, it has separated from the walls of the jar. It may fall out. I request a replacement for this poor quality product.

This is the only base that suits my hooded eyelids and oily skin. It doesn't smudge and dries quickly. I use it for both eyeshadows and eyeliner, and I apply it with my fingers. As I mentioned before, it dries quickly, so you need to close the jar immediately after taking out the product. Also, you need to blend it on the eyelid quickly. The expiration date is 12 months, but the base dries even faster, making it impossible to blend. However, even like that, it is worth the money.

Now, let's talk about the courier delivery. The delivery was supposed to be on the 19th, between 2 pm and 6 pm, but it arrived on the 20th at 1 pm. I understand that there can be delays, but couldn't they at least send a message to inform me? I waited at the delivery address for half an hour, thinking that maybe the courier will show up. There was no name or contact number of the courier in the email, so I couldn't get in touch with them. Another incident was when the courier arrived, and I wasn't there, even though I specifically chose the delivery time. But they never take that into consideration. The courier was polite and pleasant to talk to, but I got tired of figuring out what to do with my package while I'm on the subway or bus. If I ask them to come later, the courier will show up the next day, and still not at the right time. I want to see the courier's phone number and be notified if the package won't be delivered today! Just a simple text message, it won't take much time!

I received a completely dry foundation!

The base is great, but after a month of use, it has already dried out, and now the shadows don't stay even half a day. It's a pity. Previously, I could use it until the end, but now I haven't even reached half of the jar. Money wasted.

My favorite foundation (after the Bourgeois one, which is currently unavailable for some reason), but I was disappointed with its staying power in the southern weather. It didn't last long enough, and it felt like I could have just applied it on top of my powder.

The best eyeshadow base ever! I keep buying it over and over again, not just for myself but also as a gift.

I have ordered this base several times. I apply it over serum or cream around my eyes. The eyeshadows last all day and do not smudge, even in hot summer weather, despite having oily eyelids. Of course, this is only possible if you use good quality eyeshadows.

I tried the wonderful eyeshadow base for the first time and I was extremely satisfied. The base itself is nude with a subtle and delicate shimmer. I was very pleased with the results.

I am very satisfied with this foundation. It doesn't smudge. I apply it under my eyes where I have some fine lines, and then the concealer doesn't gather up. It's excellent.

I have oily eyelids, and usually eyeshadows tend to crease after an hour or two. But with this eyeshadow primer, they stay put all day. In the photo, it's been 10 hours of heat and the eyeshadow still looks flawless.

My first impression was good, as the eyeshadows lasted for three hours in the heat and I thought it was super (I tried them on vacation, not at home). Now, let's talk about the main point. I wore them to work, applied the base, and put on the eyeshadows as usual. However, the eyeshadows faded away halfway through the day. I have already written one review, and this is my second one since I tested them for a day. I didn't see a difference between the Ruby Rose eyeshadows priced at 80 UAH and these ones priced at 199 UAH, but I managed to get them for 163 UAH on sale (before testing). I have read many reviews and noticed one common drawback: they dry out and do not stay on for 20% of users. Therefore, my conclusion is that this product is not suitable for oily eyelids considering its price. And one more thing, the Ruby Rose eyeshadows work better as a base than the Artdeco Eyeshadow Base. I won't buy them again and won't recommend them to others.

The base is really nice, the shadows do not crease and look brighter on it. I ordered a makeup and they promised to include a gift, but they probably forgot to put the gift. It's not pleasant.

I spent a long time contemplating whether to purchase this product. I read both positive and negative reviews, with some people claiming it didn't work for them until the end. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try. The application was a bit difficult (it emphasized my droopy eyelids), and when I tried it with lighter shades, it didn't work for some reason – everything clumped together. I washed it off and tried again, but this time with darker shades. They worked well and lasted for about three hours (which is impressive for a hot day, considering my eyelids shouldn't have any makeup on, just some shadow). I washed it off to test it properly. However, I couldn't find the expiration date and I don't understand why there was no protective film on the jar upon opening it. Since the price is good right now, I ordered a backup, but now I'm worried that it won't last without the protective film. Special thanks to the courier Alexey for delivering the product on time.

In my opinion, this product is super long-lasting - it can even withstand wedding makeup in the tropics. However, it poorly distributes and dries quickly, which you can see for yourself. Personally, I have chosen other options for myself.

The base is simply amazing! Shadows look much better with it. I like that it has sparkles. It is better to apply with fingers because using a brush takes too little product.

I am very satisfied! The texture is pleasant, and there is no sticky feeling after application. The eyeshadows, which would usually smudge after 2 hours without a base, lasted for 11 hours with the Artdeco brand until I removed my makeup. I highly recommend it.
