Hair Color L'Oreal Paris Excellence

I bought the hair dye in shade 6.11, but it turned out to be 7.77 on my porous and dry hair. Here are the before and after photos. It changed from a reddish color to a dark blonde with a warm tint. The dye is excellent.

The paint is excellent. It transformed my bright copper hair into a warm dark blonde shade, leaving only a subtle tint. The next dyeing session will wash out the remaining copper tones. I'm attaching photos so you can see the difference. My hair is porous and dry.

I've been using this hair dye for a long time and chose color 9.1. It's perfect for covering my stubborn gray hair. The only downside is that the price keeps increasing.

This paint is absolutely amazing! I love it. I used to use the same brand but the ammonia-free version, always choosing 9U. However, it didn't cover gray hair completely, so I decided to try this one. I chose 9, and the color turned out to be simply gorgeous. It's a very beautiful warm shade, with no ashiness or dullness. It covered the gray hair completely. I recommend it to all the ladies who love warm blonde shades to consider this number. The only downside is that it's not available in Ukraine, so you have to get it from the EU. Wishing everyone beautiful and lovely hair!

Tone 9 is a wonderful natural light blonde without an ashy tint, and it leaves the hair soft. Tone 10, however, dries out the hair.

The paint is of good quality and effectively covered the gray hair. The color holds up well. I received the order quickly, but the package was open on both sides and crumpled, which is why I deducted a star. Everything was included, but it left an unpleasant feeling.

I bought shade 500, and I was very lucky that it was a perfect match with my natural color, which made me very happy. I did a test on a hair strand for comparison, and there was no noticeable difference. However, I wasn't as fortunate with the gray coverage; the dye only covered about 50-60% of it. After a month, the color faded (as you can see in the photo), and the gray seemed even more noticeable. Ladies, do you have any tips on how to make the color last longer and better cover gray hair?

I bought color 01 and I'm very satisfied. The color is true to what is advertised, and I've been using it for over 8 years. My hair looks fantastic, vibrant, and shiny.

If you have light brown or dark blonde hair, the color will turn out just like in the picture after dyeing. It doesn't dry out your hair.

I've used this hair dye before, but I've noticed that after two weeks, some areas of my hair start to show a yellowish tint.

I bought this hair dye for the first time. It does a great job covering gray hair, but it's also difficult to remove from the skin.

The 7.11 'ultra ash blonde' on natural dark blonde looks more like light chestnut.

I always ordered a few packs, and everything was fine, but the last time, one out of five arrived with a different design. The number matched, so I thought maybe they just changed the packaging design. I started mixing it and noticed it was thicker. As I was dyeing my hair, I noticed it darkened differently. As a result, the roots ended up with a green tint, which is just awful, but thankfully the roots hadn't grown out too much.

The shade 4.11 does not cover the red tint at the roots (remnants of washed-out purple dye) and did not cover the gray hair. After dyeing for 20 minutes plus an additional 10 minutes, my hair looked the same as before. The tone may have shifted to a more neutral one but remained chestnut-red. The mask included in the package is nice; it leaves the hair light, voluminous, and shiny. But that's about it. The purple shampoo does nothing. It might be suitable for younger people looking to change their hair tone.

I've been using this hair dye for about 8-10 years, but unfortunately, it has changed. It's become thicker, making it impossible to squeeze out of the tube without constant shaking, which takes more time for self-dyeing. It doesn't last as long as it used to and doesn't cover gray hair as effectively. Over the years, I've used shades 400, 500, 600, 6.1, and 7.1, which were darker, but now it seems to tint the roots rather than cover them. Additionally, in recent months with the new formula, the dye has started to burn my hair, leaving it dry, and even causes itching after use, which never happened before the update. The ammonia-free version from the nude collections also burns my hair and causes itching. It's a shame because now I need to find another brand, as they've ruined the dye with their update.

This hair dye really dries out my hair. It didn't work for me. My hair feels like straw afterwards. I bought three boxes during a sale. Oh well, they'll just sit there.

Girls, don't choose number 8.11! It doesn't turn out as ash blonde, but rather reddish and definitely not light brown. The color applied evenly and resulted in a reddish-brown on natural, uncolored hair. I can't speak for the other shades, but this one is definitely a miss.

I bought the 600 shade hoping to add a bit of color to my natural light brown hair. Unfortunately, the shade does not match the description. It is not the natural light brown as stated on the package, but more like a 'dark blonde' because it lightened my natural color and gave my hair a reddish tint. I'm very upset; my long hair is ruined, and now I need to find another dye that truly matches the color shown on the package.

I can't figure out what's wrong with these paints. I bought the 400 super color, and I bought 4U, which is black. I hate it.

I do not recommend this product. I used shade 500, and the color is not long-lasting at all! It washed out completely after the third wash. Additionally, it did a poor job covering gray hair.

I purchased shade 4.2. Initially, the color was as expected, but after washing my hair twice, it became significantly lighter and the gray hair became very noticeable.

The ultra-ash color did not match the description at all. It turned my natural hair, which had no red tones, into a yellow shade.

The paint arrived in the right color at a good price, and very quickly—I ordered it in the evening, and it was delivered the next morning.

I use this product regularly (shade 300). The color is perfect without any undertones (like red or green). The shampoo is amazing, and I especially love the mask. I wish the manufacturer would consider a few recommendations:

1. The gloves tend to slip off, and the dye seeps in. Please add an elastic band to the edge to prevent this, as I end up having to throw them away, which is wasteful.

2. In the bottles containing the dye, there’s a hard part near the cap. When you squeeze it, a lot remains inside, so I have to cut it open, which is also wasteful.

3. Please release the shampoo and mask that come with the dye separately!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my feedback regarding my dissatisfaction with the L'ORÉAL 10.21 hair dye with hyaluronic acid. The manufacturers have changed the consistency of the dye, making it thicker, but they haven't updated the bottle. The bottle design is the same as when the dye was more liquid, which made it easy to apply. Now, it's a struggle! The bottom of the bottle is hard, as is the bottle itself, and the thick and airy consistency makes it very difficult to squeeze out. I am satisfied with the shade of the dye, but for now, I won't be purchasing it again and will look for alternatives. Since I dye my hair by myself, without assistance, convenience is important to me.

I agree with the previous reviews from other users, unfortunately. The 10.21 shade, labeled as a very light blonde with a pearlescent effect, leaves my hair with a slight pinkish tint after dyeing. However, this fades after two washes. The roots, on the other hand, turned out a terrible orange color. I used to dye my hair with this product regularly (about a year ago) and achieved a stunning blonde with excellent brightness. Why has the color changed for the worse?

This product works well for my mom. It covers her gray hair effectively and doesn't wash out. The only downside is the strong smell, but that's common with most hair dyes.
