I absolutely love this hair dye. I have been using it for several years, in shade 1 - black. If left on for too long, it can dry out the hair. However, if you treat your hair with care, you can restore the balance.

It is very convenient to dye your hair by yourself. The color is nice and the hair feels soft. The downside is the extremely pungent smell. It even stings the eyes.
I really liked the hair dye. I mixed Color 7.11 and 8.11 and got a slightly darker shade than I expected, but it improved the condition of my hair after bleaching. The purple mask didn't stain my hands and hair, but it didn't eliminate the brassiness as much as I would have liked. However, the shampoo is amazing. It foams up well and effectively cleanses the hair, leaving it clean for several days. Is there a shampoo with a gentle pH available for purchase separately?

Then I decided to let my hair grow out. I dyed my hair dark and initially went to the salon to maintain the dark color, but then I decided to dye it myself with professional hair dyes. The color was more or less fine, but my hair became dry, even though I used a 3% or 1.5% toner. Then I got frustrated and bought this hair dye in shade 5.11 (because I already had a lot of gray hair) and wow!!! It made my hair incredibly soft!! Next time, I want to try shade 5.00 because 5.11 is really cool-toned, and I love when there are red and reddish undertones in dark hair. This dye is top-notch!
The best hair dye ever!
I tried shade 7.11 today. Well, what can I say? Calling it a straight-up cool ultra-ashy tone is an exaggeration, as there's still some reddishness present. However, the hair quality is good and they look well-maintained. The overall color is beautiful, although it is darker than what is shown on the packaging. I deduct one star for the reddishness, but other than that, it's a very good hair dye.

10.21. Oh my goodness! The bleach smells horrible. It burned my scalp and caused red irritations. Even after rinsing, it continued to burn for several hours. And instead of lightening, the color became darker by one shade. It didn't cover my gray hair. I didn't expect this from L'Oreal! There are more and more reviews about irritations from L'Oreal hair dyes! It's a waste of money. I used 5.11 before and didn't have such issues, but this shade, although cool, appears reddish compared to the 5.1 palette (the hair quality is worse, but the shade is fantastic).
The product effectively covers gray hair, although the color is slightly darker than shown in the photo. However, after a couple of weeks, it gradually becomes similar to the sample.

Shade 8.11 is a natural cool blonde. However, please note that it will only look like the picture if your hair base is a clean blonde. If you have light/medium brown hair, you will get a darker shade after dyeing than what is stated. Over time, it will fade slightly into a lighter tone.
My goal was to remove unwanted yellow/red tones from my hair, and this dye did a wonderful job.
I only deduct points because the dye slightly dried out my hair length.

The shade is ash brown 7.1. Previously, I used L'Oreal's ammonia-free Cream Gloss, but it always left my hair feeling dry and quickly faded. The only thing that disappointed me was the packaging. The box was partially open and the dye was wrapped in tight paper. When I took it out of the box, the dye packaging opened and everything fell on the floor. Thank you Makeup for the birthday gift!

I have bought this hair dye before. The color 5.11 really doesn't turn out reddish if you follow all the instructions. I am deducting stars for the packaging quality because the packaging of the dye itself is crumpled on all sides. How could they wrap it in protective paper like this??? I purchased shade 600 and the color of the paint does not match what is stated on the packaging at all. It comes out very dark, similar to shade 4u from the ammonia-free series, when it should have been two tones lighter. Therefore, I do not recommend it.

I purchased color 003 for previously uncolored hair (shade 8, if I'm not mistaken). The dye lightened it by approximately two shades, leaving a yellowish, honey-like or light sandy blonde shade with a golden undertone (not as depicted on the packaging). However, it suited my complexion, even though I had planned on a lighter color. Keep in mind that this dye requires a 9% developer, which only lightens by 1-2 shades. I deduct a star for the dryness and increased hair fall, which is tolerable but will require some hair masks for recovery. However, the bottle and applicator nozzle are very convenient, making it easy to dye at home (even by oneself).

In this hair dye, everything is good except for the smell, it's just awful. But I haven't found a comparable alternative yet, so I forgive it for that.
I've been using it for almost two years, even during my whole pregnancy, and it does a pretty good job of covering the first gray hairs! My hair is thick and quite fluffy, and it responds well to this dye. It doesn't dry it out or harm it. I always choose the brown color, I've tried all the brown shades in this line, and they all have a hint of red, but I prefer a cooler tone.
I ordered it here, the price is great, but it's hard to find it cheaper than 200 UAH at the moment. The delivery is always excellent, that's why I love MakeUp for that.

I have been using the 7.1 hair dye for many years. It suits me perfectly, leaving my hair well-colored and well-groomed. Last year, I had to buy dyes from other brands, and it was a disaster. Now, I am restoring my hair and using my beloved hair dye again. I can also recommend the Magic Retouch toning spray, which I use when my hair grows out and I need to dye the roots. I dye my hair once a month. I highly recommend it for use.
