The perfect hair color is one that not only gives your hair the desired shade but also cares for its health. Think that's impossible? Think again, because LOreal Paris Excellence is exactly that kind of hair color. What sets it apart is its triple protection formula. It takes care of your hair before the coloring process begins, protects it during the process, and continues to care for it afterward, resulting in an unparalleled outcome.
Thanks to pro-keratin, the coloring cream strengthens your hair and infuses it with vitality. Your locks don't just gain a rich shade; they also become more radiant and lively. Even gray hair won't betray its presence with a single strand. After coloring, wash your hair with cool water using the gentle shampoo and apply the nourishing mask to make your hair soft and shiny.

I've been using this paint for many years, and I really like it. Thank you for the prompt and timely delivery.
I agree with the previous reviews from other users, unfortunately. The 10.21 shade, labeled as a very light blonde with a pearlescent effect, leaves my hair with a slight pinkish tint after dyeing. However, this fades after two washes. The roots, on the other hand, turned out a terrible orange color. I used to dye my hair with this product regularly (about a year ago) and achieved a stunning blonde with excellent brightness. Why has the color changed for the worse?
This product works well for my mom. It covers her gray hair effectively and doesn't wash out. The only downside is the strong smell, but that's common with most hair dyes.
I've been using this hair dye, shade 4.11, for two years now. Recently, the results have become unpredictable; sometimes the color turns out lighter, other times darker. Occasionally, it even stains my scalp, taking three washes to remove, while other times my scalp remains clean after dyeing. I can't figure out why the results vary so much. On the plus side, it does a great job covering gray hair.
It covers well. Thank you.
I've purchased this product before. This time, however, I was surprised and disappointed: the paint had an odor reminiscent of cheap Chinese shoes and was difficult to mix, with clumps present.
Shade 7UR—I didn't purchase it here, but I'm leaving a review. I followed the instructions exactly, but the dye barely covered my gray hair or dark roots. Even toning masks have been more effective!
10.21 is a very beautiful blonde shade, with excellent price and quality.
The shade 8.13 is wonderful and covers gray hair well. However, the texture is very thick, making it difficult to apply. It used to be much better. One package is not enough for my thick hair, even just for the roots.

The paint is great; I've been using it for several years. I always chose shades from the number 9 range, but this time I wanted something slightly darker, so I decided to try 7.1. I'm not sure what went wrong—maybe I should have gone red first after being blonde (since my hair already had some yellow tones). For some reason, 7.1 gave my hair a green tint. Overall, the color is excellent, but it just turned out that way. I'll see how this color fades compared to the number 9 shades, and then I might try a warmer tone like chestnut, if it's available.
The hair quality is excellent after using this dye. The color turned out beautiful and even throughout the length, in shade 9.1.
I am shocked :) I used Casting for 3 years, and as I started to get more gray hair, I decided to try this dye. I expected it to lighten my hair by one shade. The roots did become lighter, but turned out reddish. I bought tone 6U, and my base was dyed at level 5, which remained the same. The biggest shock was that the gray hair wasn't covered at all.
I didn't purchase this product here. My natural hair is light. Once a year, I usually dye it to make it slightly more white rather than yellow. This time, I decided to lighten my natural color instead of using a different shade. I've had it for two months now, and the color hasn't changed at all. The photo shows my hair still slightly damp.
The quality of the dye is excellent. It covers gray hair well. However, on my natural light brown hair, it turned out with a reddish-golden tint, even though I was hoping for an ash tone.
I am very satisfied with this hair dye. It covers gray hair well. I highly recommend it.
Everything is satisfactory except for the price increase.
It covers gray hair well. I'm satisfied with the dye.
I've been using L'Oreal Excellence hair dye for many years and have purchased it from various stores. The dye can vary, probably depending on where it's manufactured. Sometimes the dye has a different consistency, and the gloves included can be too small. I ordered shades 6.11 and 7.11 from Makeup for the first time since I'm changing my hair color. I've managed to try one shade, 6.11, and I'm pleased with the results. I recommend it. Makeup has never disappointed me. Thank you.
My mom only uses L'Oréal hair dyes and has tried many shades over the years. She usually picks something from the 6 series, which always covers her gray hair well (and she has a lot of it). This time, she wanted a cool tone and ordered shade 6.11. Initially, it seemed to take well, but after the first wash, the color faded slightly and looked like it had been done two weeks ago.
However, the main issue is that this particular shade, 6.11, causes a burning sensation (unlike the other shades), makes her skin red, and dries out her hair more than others. I understand this might be an individual reaction, but she never experienced it with the Casting Crème Gloss or other Excellence shades. She won't buy 6.11 again because of the burning and plans to switch to Casting Crème Gloss, as it's the gentlest L'Oréal option. I should mention that my mom has very fine, weak hair with 90% gray, and Casting seems to improve its condition.
On a side note, the shampoo and mask included with the regular version of the dye are the best in the world. The mask comes in a convenient small bottle with a cap, not in packets that are hard to open with wet hands. I absolutely love the shampoo—it has a divine scent, makes the hair incredibly soft, and gives it an amazing texture. I wish L'Oréal would release a full version of it. I'd buy it just for the scent alone. If anyone knows of any shampoos similar to it, please let me know! :)
I really like this hair dye. I've been using it for many years. It covers gray hair well, feels very pleasant to the touch, and lasts a long time without fading. I will continue to use only this dye.
In my opinion, this paint is terrible. It burns and gives a horrible orange shade that neither the purple shampoo nor the included masks can help with.
My favorite hair dye. When applied, it doesn't smell like ammonia, and the applicator is super convenient for self-coloring - a real find!
"This is an excellent hair dye that fully covers gray hair without drying it out. I have been using it for many years."
Great paint, highly recommended! I always use it!
Loreal hair dye is the only caring option for my thin and porous hair. The color 7.1 did not change at all after the update. It is half a shade lighter than my natural color and perfectly hides my gray hair. I have a reddish tint in my hair and with the 7.1 shade, it seems more noticeable during the first two washes, but then the color matches the claimed result. Don't be alarmed.
I have been using this paint regularly.
I regularly use this hair dye, as it effectively covers gray hair and leaves it healthy and shiny.
Yesterday I gave the updated formula shade 8.11 a third chance. It was the last one. After the formula change, the dye applied horribly and poorly colored my hair. However, I have been using this color for many years and hoped that everything would be fine. But yesterday, my hair simply fell out on my temples. I do not accept any comments about not enduring the test of time, as I emphasize once again that I have been using this dye for a good ten years. Now I have to look for a different dye from a different manufacturer. It's very unfortunate.
It is very convenient to dye your hair by yourself. The color is nice and the hair feels soft. The downside is the extremely pungent smell. It even stings the eyes.
I really liked the hair dye. I mixed Color 7.11 and 8.11 and got a slightly darker shade than I expected, but it improved the condition of my hair after bleaching. The purple mask didn't stain my hands and hair, but it didn't eliminate the brassiness as much as I would have liked. However, the shampoo is amazing. It foams up well and effectively cleanses the hair, leaving it clean for several days. Is there a shampoo with a gentle pH available for purchase separately?
Good day! I have been using this hair dye in the color "Enchanting Chestnut" for several years, and I have always been satisfied with the condition of my hair after coloring and the result. However, something went wrong the last 2 times. After using the mask that comes with it, my hair feels greasy, creating the effect of dirty hair, and I have to wash it all over again. The first time, I didn't pay much attention to it, but today it happened again... I rinse the mask thoroughly and wash my hair as usual. What could be wrong? Did they change the formula or is it expired?
I have bought this paint before and the quality is okay. However, this time there were no gloves in the package, which really annoyed me.
I always buy products from this brand, and specifically this shade, color number 500. However, this time the packaging looks completely different. Let's see if it will provide the same coloring effect as before.
I have been using this hair dye for several years and I really like it.
I didn't buy it here, but the hair dye is great! Until the age of 34, I had never dyed my hair at home, only in salons because I was blonde and the coloring techniques like air touch were complex. Then I decided to let my hair grow out. I dyed my hair dark and initially went to the salon to maintain the dark color, but then I decided to dye it myself with professional hair dyes. The color was more or less fine, but my hair became dry, even though I used a 3% or 1.5% toner. Then I got frustrated and bought this hair dye in shade 5.11 (because I already had a lot of gray hair) and wow!!! It made my hair incredibly soft!! Next time, I want to try shade 5.00 because 5.11 is really cool-toned, and I love when there are red and reddish undertones in dark hair. This dye is top-notch!
The best hair dye ever!
I tried shade 7.11 today. Well, what can I say? Calling it a straight-up cool ultra-ashy tone is an exaggeration, as there's still some reddishness present. However, the hair quality is good and they look well-maintained. The overall color is beautiful, although it is darker than what is shown on the packaging. I deduct one star for the reddishness, but other than that, it's a very good hair dye.
I have purchased this product before. The color is nice and it effectively covers gray hair. The included mask and shampoo are excellent additions.
Good paint.
I have received my order and everything fits perfectly.
"For its price, it is a decent paint."
I would like to add to my review. After the first hair wash following the dyeing process, the violet pigment faded slightly and the hair appeared to be a bit lighter. I actually prefer this color much more as it is closer to the one on the packaging. I chose shade 9.1, my base color was level 9 in length, and probably level 7 at the roots. However, it was expected that the roots would turn out slightly reddish, but everyone should be aware of that.
I didn't buy it here, but I will leave a review. The color is 8.1. The root was level 6, not lower, and the lightened length was level 10-11. I expected the length to be a darker reddish-ashy color. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a grayish-brown color. I also expected the root to be cool-toned, but it turned out to be copper-red with a strong red tint. The photos show the same hair under different lighting conditions - daytime near a window and evening under artificial lighting. It's a good thing it's still winter and I can wear a hat.
I bought it elsewhere, but I am disappointed. My base was a level 9 blonde. However, this hair dye made it darker. The color turned out decent on its own, but it's a shame for the blonde that I worked so hard to achieve 😭.
I have been using Casting Creme Gloss for many years and decided to try something new. I was really impressed with the convenience of applying the dye and the great result. My hair looks well-groomed and shiny.
I really liked the paint, the color matches what was advertised.
I chose the shade 7.1 Ashy Blonde. My hair color is a light brown. I decided to use it to cover my gray hair. I really liked the color. I will definitely buy it again. I'm also interested in trying the shade 7.11.
Shade 8.11 is a natural cool blonde. However, please note that it will only look like the picture if your hair base is a clean blonde. If you have light/medium brown hair, you will get a darker shade after dyeing than what is stated. Over time, it will fade slightly into a lighter tone.
My goal was to remove unwanted yellow/red tones from my hair, and this dye did a wonderful job.
I only deduct points because the dye slightly dried out my hair length.
I am attaching a photo of the color that resulted.
Great hair dye, effectively covers gray hair. I bought shade 200. The hair looks vibrant and has a beautiful shine.
The paint is decent, but the colors are practically unnoticeable. I chose shade 8.11. My natural hair color is brown. The smell is awful (like cheap paint). Maybe I'll try it again, but in a different color. Let's see how well the color holds up.
I ordered shade 7.11, hoping for a miracle, a cool ash brown without any red undertones. But no, after washing my hair twice, it turned yellowish, even the blue mask didn't help. I remember buying it before, but I couldn't recall why I stopped using it. Now I definitely won't be using it again.
It is very difficult to find this exact paint and shade in stores. Makeup has everything, the price is acceptable, and the order arrived very quickly. I recommend it!
Girls, I want to leave a review on this find. I bought it not for makeup, but in a physical store, but from now on I will order here because I already know which color suits me. I took 7.11 ultra-ashy chestnut, it did something incredible. The unwanted yellowness disappeared. After hot botox and coloring in the salon, the hair color washed out very quickly and turned into some incomprehensible yellow. My dark chestnut hair was lighter at the roots and much lighter along the length and ends, but it became even, meaning it colored so nicely and evenly that I did not expect. I am satisfied 1000%, there is no unpleasant yellow hair at all, the set also includes shampoo and an incredible balm against yellow color, and a very convenient brush that distributes the paint well. From the bottom of my heart, for those who, like me, are looking for chestnut color without yellowness, I highly recommend this color.
I highly recommend this product. My hair looks vibrant even after dyeing it. I will definitely purchase it again. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery!
Thank you for the fast delivery! I have been using this paint for a long time, and the quality is top-notch!
I recommend, it fits well.
Most importantly, this product does a great job of coloring hair in a black shade without staining the skin. This deserves respect!
I have used shade 6.00. There was no reddish tone, but now, after 3 months, I cannot find this color anywhere.
