Magnetic eyelashes are becoming more and more popular every year. Their ease of application means that even beginners are turning to them as an alternative to traditional adhesive strip eyelashes. And although magnetic eyelashes were only available in a few styles until recently, MAKEUP now offers 28 different models to suit your needs.
How do magnetic eyelashes work?
Magnetic eyelashes have gained popularity recently among women who love heavier makeup but have never been able to apply false eyelashes on their own. Magnetic eyelashes come in two types:
- Magnetic eyelashes for eyeliner – those that are applied to a line drawn beforehand with magnetic eyeliner
- Magnetic “for a sandwich” eyelashes come in 4 strips, 2 for each eye. We attach them to the top and bottom of our natural eyelashes.
The second method, although popular until recently, does not have many fans nowadays. It required a lot of patience, precision, and the willingness to accept that the first attempts might end in failure.
An easier method of application is magnetic eyelashes attached to magnetic eyeliner. Thanks to them, applying false eyelashes has become quick, easy, and enjoyable for many women.
Magnetic eyeliner contains a high concentration of a safe ingredient – iron oxide – which gives it its properties. Makeup colorants often include this chemical. The difference, however, is the concentration of this ingredient, which remains safe for our health.
How Do Magnetic Eyelashes Differ from Regular Eyelashes?
Why are more and more women giving up classic glue-on eyelashes? There are many reasons. One of the most important is how easy it is to use. Magnetic eyelashes can be applied in a few minutes – even without experience – while traditional glue-on models require more skill, and very often, after many attempts, you may give up.
Also, remember that you don’t need glue to attach magnetic eyelashes. This way, you will avoid the unpleasant feeling of your eyes or natural eyelashes sticking together.
How to Apply Half Lashes?
The answer is: very easily! You don’t have to trim half lashes for fear of them poking you in the corner of your eye. All you have to do is draw a line with magnetic eyeliner. Then wait about a minute and remove the lashes from the box with the applicator. The last step: press them against the line you drew (press harder at the corners). And you’re done!
As you can see, applying half lashes is very easy. You can quickly enjoy a unique, natural look without worrying about irritation. Wear them whenever you want to emphasize your eyes and boost your confidence.
Attention: Many people are sensitive to eyelash adhesive substances. Magnetic eyeliner reduces allergic reactions. However, remember that with any new product, especially one applied to the delicate eye area, it is worth doing an allergy test. When using eyeliner, you can rest assured about the condition of your natural eyelashes. By performing a two-step makeup removal, your eyelashes and eyelid skin are safe.
The lifespan of the eyelashes is also important. With glue-applied models, it is more difficult to maintain their appearance, and the eyelashes tend to stick together. It is also tedious to remove glue residue from them.
How to Care for Magnetic Eyelashes?
Magnetic eyelashes are a completely different matter. Because they attach to the eyeliner, you don’t have to worry about damaging them when removing your makeup. Remember to pull gently on the outer corner and remove the eyelashes with a slow movement. Only then should you proceed to remove your eye makeup.
Wondering how to care for magnetic eyelashes? We’ve got the answer!
- After removing the eyelashes, remove any eyeliner residue with your fingernails or a cotton swab soaked in diluted makeup remover.
- Avoid using oil-based eyelash cleaners.
- Keep your eyelashes in their original packaging.
- Do not pull on individual eyelashes to avoid them falling out.
If you follow these rules, you can be sure that you will be able to wear your magnetic eyelashes up to 30 times. Additional tips can be found in the leaflet included with your order and on each package!
