I have been eyeing this hair straightener for a while and finally bought it today in a different store. It does an okay job, but I feel like it falls short compared to my previous straightener with a tourmaline coating. With my old one, my hair would become straight and smooth right after the first pass. With this one, however, I have to go over my hair multiple times, not just two or three, and yet my hair still ends up slightly wavy at the ends, as if I'm curling them instead of straightening.
On the positive side, it heats up quickly, has temperature control, and the plates glide smoothly through my hair.
However, it doesn't give me the 100% straight hair effect that I desire.
I plan on returning the straightener to the store tomorrow.
